Chapter 1: Graduation

•Trish's POV•

"Stupid alarm clock, giving me a damn headache!! Why the hell does it alarm so early, damn it someone turn it off!!" I shouted at no one in particular as I covered my head with the pillow..

Of course the stupid clock still continued annoying the crap out of me so I got my lazy ass up and turned it off.. As I dived back in bed my door flew open, introducing a very joyful mother of mine..

"Up now! Get up and get ready, its a big day today!" She shouted as she threw herself on me..

"Mom, get off me.." I struggled to say since my face was buried down in my pillow.. "And what's so special about today??"

She quickly got off me, finally I can breathe again! I sat up in bed rubbing my eyes and staring at her surprised expression..

"Today is your big day of course.. Its your graduation!" A huge smile plastered on her face.. "Hurry up and get ready, I'm going to prepare breakfast.." She ran out of the room..

"Yeah, whatever mom! Please summer hurry up!!" I shouted out to in frustration..
I swear, my mom seems to be more of a child than I am.. *sigh*
I got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom which I share with my brother.. Stared at my refection while I think..
I'm excited about graduation, but it just feel weird.. I mean, its like I started high school just a few months ago, time flies fast..

I did my usual bathroom routines and got dress.. After getting dress, I admire my reflection in my standing mirror.. I was wearing a skin tight white sleeveless dress that shows my little, skinny figure.. I had on white strap up heels.. My long dark brown hair was caught back in a simply ponytail, my chocolate complexion was glowing..

"You ready Trish??" My brother Jevoungh asked.. I looked to him to see him wearing a white polo shirt, white pants and white sneakers, his hair was a mess, obviously he haven't seen a barber shop for awhile, he attends Jose Marti College and I'll be attending too, since I was accepted..

"Damn! No wonder rats idolise you.." I mocked him..

He rolled his eyes, "You got jokes, I'm gonna assume you haven't seen a mirror lately.." He smirked at his lame come back.. We raced downstairs to mother finishing up her breakfast and ours on the counter..

"Thanks mom!" I said as I started to clean my plate..

"Wild animal alert!! No wonder she got no boyfriend.." Jevoungh said.

"For your information, I got a boyfriend.." I snapped my head to him.

"Oh really?? He the zookeeper?" Jevoungh laughed at his jokes, while mom fight to hold back hers..

"Mom! Jay's making fun of me!" I shouted once I know that I've been defeated. Mom chuckled..

After breakfast my brother Jay decided to drop me off at school, since I'm graduating, I gotta reach hours before to get ready with my girls of course.. As I said my thanks to my brother as he drove off.. I looked up at my blue painted school and admired the white bold writing that told us which school it was, 'Jardon James High School.' I smiled for awhile, knowing this is my last day as a member of this school.. I walked through the halls slowly, remembering every moment with my schoolmates.. I closed my eyes and took in the different scents that surrounded me.. Damn it. I'm gonna actually miss this place..

I opened my eyes to see one of my best friends looking a bit worried. "Why you out here by yourself??" Kadine asked me..

"Nothing important.. I'm just glad you my home girl." I said as I hugged her..

I pulled back to see her, she was wearing a white dress that hugged around her bosoms and just flew down cutely.. Her white heels are to die for and her long ebony hair was let loose.. She was a darker shade of chocolate than I was.. After admiring each others clothing we went into our home room.. Our classmates were all dressed in white, our gowns weren't here yet so the boys played games on their phones and took pictures while the girls do their make up and hair.. Kadine and I started fixing our make-up getting ready for our big moment..

•Nickolas POV•

I sat down for what seemed to be forever.. "This is taking almost forever.." I stated.. Everyone has been seated a long time now but the graduates are no where in sight..

"Be patient Nick.. They're still getting ready.." Andre said to me..

A few members of my pack and I are here to support Andre's mate on her graduation.. Andre is my right hand man, my beta, but second in command of my pack, The Red Moon pack, and its a bit obvious that I'm the Alpha..
Finally, the graduates are marching out in their blue gowns and white sashes around their necks.. Andre's girl Kadine came out marching beside this weird looking dude..

"You jealous??" I asked, already knowing the answer.. His expression was priceless as if he just tasted lime..

"Yeah, but I can't do anything about it.." He said as he tried calming himself..

As I continued laughing at Andre's love life, a scent of chocolate, vanilla and strawberries cut me off.. I looked over at this beautiful girl marching out with a complete idiot.. I lowly growled out of jealousy, she looked amazing..
"Mine." I said a little loud, but not loud for everyone to hear, only my pack members heard and stared at me..

"Yours?? What's yours??" Andre asked me.. I pointed at her as she took a seat, the dude that she marched with held her hand while she talked to Andre's girl..

"Mine.." I repeat..

"Looks like she got a boyfriend.. But no worries, obviously she knows my baby Kadine, so.." He said pointing it out like its not pretty obvious..

"Mine.." I stated another time..

"She's sexy.." Kevin stated while staring at my mate..

"Mine!" I semi yelled at him making a few people turn their heads to shush me.. My eyes were getting dark and all I wanted was to hold her..

"Calm Nick.. We know she's yours, but you got to wait.. I haven't told Kadine about the whole wolf thing yet.. And you, well you got to make her know you first." Thanks again Andre for stating the obvious..

"OK, after graduation then.. I'll get to meet my mate.." I lay backed trying to relax..

"Mine." I mumbled again, quietly this time..
