His POV

"And why is that?" Napipikong wika ko.

Mr. Tolentino just gave me a small smile.

"That's it Hijo. Ibibigay ko sayo yung property na gustong gusto mo kapag kasal ka na."

Napahilot ako sa sentido ko. It's a very important meeting,at ang property na tinutukoy niya ay napakahalaga at talaga namang gusto kong makuha.

"And again, why? Bakit kailangang kasal pa ako? Sa anong dahilan Sir?" I frustratedly asked.

Again he just gave me a small smile.

"Because that property is very important to me hijo. It is the property where I shared so many happy memories with my deceased wife. She loves that place so much and before she die she told me that if I ever sold that place, make sure that I will sell it to a person who will also love that place."

Napaupo ako. The place that he was saying is an island. A very beautiful island where I want to live together with my future family.

"I understand Sir. I will take care of it. Kahit araw araw niyo pa iyong i-check. I will take care of it and that's a promise." I seriously told him.

I don't know. Pero unang kita ko pa lang kasi sa islang iyon ay nagandahan na talaga ako. Marami naman na kong nakitang magagandang lugar pero di ko alam kung ano ang kakaiba sa lugar na iyon para gustuhin kong mapasakin iyon.

Napaangat ako ng tingin ng tumayo si Mr. Tolentino.

Tumayo rin ako.

"Sir-"

"You.. being married..at ibibigay ko sayo yung property. Thankyou for your time Mr. Montero. Hope to talk to you soon. Have a good day. I'll go ahead." Then he turned his back on me at tuluyan nang lumabas ng office ko.

Nahahapong napaupo ako sa swivel chair ko.

A wife..a wife huh?

I closed my eyes tightly. I really want that property.

I grabbed the phone on my desk then I dialed my secretary's number.

"Sir?"

"I need a new applicant. A girl. Don't ask further question. Magpakalat ka ng papel. I need it by tomorrow." Then I hang up.

Applicant? What a silly excuse. I don't need another applicant.. I need a woman.. A woman who will going to pretend as my wife...

And I badly need it as soon as possible.
