Chapter 8: Accidents Happen

Start from the beginning

She smiled, "I play that some times before classes when I'm getting things ready," oh, that's cool.

I looked on the back again and read over the songs. "Unchained melody? That sounds familiar," it's like I've heard that before, but I don't know where.

She smiled, "That was the song off of Ghost," oh yeah! I remember now.

"Wasn't that the song that played when they were making that pot?" I remember the song coming on twice during the movie, I think.

She nodded, "Yes, it's called pottery, and the song also played close to the end," ah, now I remember.

I smiled, "That's cool. I liked that movie," I looked at her as she was smiling.

"I liked it too. I used to watch it so much with my husband," uh. The thought of her huband makes my stomach turn. I don't like the idea of them watching that movie together because it does have a scene in it where they're making love.

She looked back down at her papers, and I couldn't help but admire her. The way her hair gently curls at the bottom and slowly falls down to cover her face. The way her eyes always have that sparkle to them. The way her lips are always so full and..

"Samantha?" I shook my thoughts away as I noticed her staring at me.

"Y-yes?" oh shit, I stuttered.

"Are you ok?" she stared at me and I wanted to slap myself for staring at her for more then five seconds. She always catches me staring and it's getting ridiculous.

I nodded and she smiled. I couldn't help but get lost in her blue eyes as she kept staring at me. It was like I was being pulled in and there was no way for me to stop. I couldn't look away.

"You're doing it again," this time I forced myself away and I noticed that she was smiling at me. I gave her a confused look. "You're staring at me again," how many times have she seen me stare at her? It seemed like every time I would even look at her, she'd catch me.

"I'm sorry," I noticed a slight blush across her face and I knew that I wasn't imagining it this time.

She smiled, "Don't be," she looked back down at her papers and I smiled as I admired her. I couldn't understand how she is so perfect in so many ways. It was like she was the most perfect woman to ever walk the earth.

I decided to look elsewhere before she caught me staring again. I didn't want to leave and we had a while until the bell rung because she gets here early anyways. I might as well kill time in her presence.

I looked down at the CD case that I was still holding and I thought of something. I looked up at Mrs. Shuler as she was looking through some papers. "Mrs. Shuler?" she looked up at me. "Do you mind if I play this CD? I want to hear the songs on it," I watched as her eyes landed on the CD then met mine again.

She nodded, "Sure," I watched as she told me where the stereo was and I walked to it and placed the CD inside.

This thing was like older than me and I couldn't figure out how to play it. It was very frustrating. I couldn't find the damn play button. Was there even one? Of course there was, why the hell would you make a stereo without a play button?

I kept getting frustrated because I couldn't find that damn play button. Mrs. Shuler came over after a minute and showed me where it was. I felt like an idiot because it was on top of the stereo.

I smiled at her as she was walking back to her desk and I hit play. The song that came on first was that song from Ghost and I never felt more uncomfortable in my life.

If you heard that song, you'd know.

I looked over at Mrs. Shuler as she was looking through her papers and I couldn't help but think of that scene from Ghost when this song was playing. When Sam came up from behind Molly when she was making pottery and you could hear that song playing in the background as they both started holding hands and making the pot in a very sexual way.
