I have a Question

Start from the beginning

"Fuck you Raven," North glared at the Russian. "I'm not afraid of you. I will call my brother if I want to."

"North, shut it," Kota barked. "Luke doesn't need you calling and harassing him when he has more important concerns at the moment. He will call you when he is ready."

"They are right North," Silas patted his friend on the shoulder. "Let them concentrate on finding their teammate. There isn't anything we can do to help them, not when we are in Charleston and they are in Boston. You would be pissed if someone did it to you."

"Luke and Victor are still trainees," Nathan complained. "It isn't fair; they get to have all the fun."

Brandon snorted rudely. "I highly doubt that having a teammate kidnapped is exciting to them, especially when poor Victor was with her. He is most likely blaming himself. While Charleston is a large city, Boston is larger. Then there is the possibility that she is no longer in the city."

"She probably left on her own to go shopping," Owen murmured to Sean. "Daddy wouldn't let her buy something so she has decided to get it any way."

"I don't know what kind of girls you know." Kevin gave him a dirty look. "I can tell you that Raschel isn't like that. She knows if her dad tells her no it is for a good reason and she never goes anywhere without telling someone. She knows Sven has people watching her at school, she would never take off and leave them to get in trouble."

"Enough let us get back to our mission." I prevented Owen from saying more. "Did anyone find out why Gabe went after those boys?"

"They are the main ones bullying him." North answered. "That Greg dude, he got a hold of Gabe's drawing tablet and used a black marker to write disparaging words on all of Gabe's drawings."

"From what we have gathered, he had a friend take it from Gabe's book bag during first hour. This Greg person ripped them out one by one and tossed them around. People were walking on them and demolishing them more." Kota added.

"That is a damn shame," I frowned. "Very few people can best Gabe when it comes to drawing. Destroying his hard work, that is beyond cruel."

"Mr. McCoy found them and tried to drag Gabe to his office for ruining Greg's drawings, that is when Gabe started to throw punches." Kota continued his report. "Shan stepped in while we corralled Gabe. Foxy took him to the hospital to get him stitched up."

"It isn't smart to mess with Gabe's art," Nathan scowled. "If he doesn't get you, we will. He puts his heart and soul into every drawing. He doesn't deserve to have it defaced because some asshat is jealous."

"Then let's get this mission over with, Greg can join the other gangster want to be in prison and be the new girl they fight over." Mark smirked and most of the others chuckled, agreeing with him.

"Anymore questions?"

"Why wasn't Owen put in charge?" Sean inquired, feeling slighted on Owen's behalf.

"Even though Shan and Foxy have been running the mission, my team is lead." I reminded him. We didn't need this right now, we had more important things to concern ourselves with than a power struggle. "Your team is made up mostly of students, they are not cleared to handle such a mission on their own, and nor you or Owen have experience in this type of job."

"Nonsense, Owen and I are the youngest graduating students in the history of the Academy. We are more than capable of handling any type of mission." He sounded offended.

"It was made clear to you that your team is under investigation to learn why your students are listed as being on three different teams. The High Council is interested in knowing why you two were able to take control of an existing team and why they covered all the missions you were supposed to do for the Academy to cover the costs for you to become a doctor."

"Wait, what do you mean we covered missions in his place?" Nathan wanted to know, his brothers muttering in agreement.

"That is something you need to discuss with Foxy and Shan," I pointed out. "Unless Owen chooses to fill you in or perhaps Sean does."

"Mr. Toma, it is not your place to question the verification of my team." Owen Blackbourne's eyes filled with ice, as did his tone.

"I disagree," I was blunt. "Your team is working under mine; I have the right to know who is in charge. So far, all you have done is kick off good members; act the spoiled lordling and ignored those under you. At every turn you have disagreed with every decision made, ignoring the fact that you have done no research before this job started. While you may not care about the safety of your brothers, I do care about mine. I will not let you put them in danger because you think you should be king. When this mission is finished, you had better believe I intend to report your ass to the Academy. In my opinion, you are not Academy material and should never have been accepted, let alone be given a team."
