"So none of you know how this happened.?" Their father sighed looking at Vio who was trying to pick up one of the larger books, "Vio leave those books alone"

Vio looked at him clearly disappointed, "But I wanna read 'em"

Sighing their father went over and picked the young boy up in his arms, "You can read later, okay Vio? " Vio frowned as he nodded his head.

Standing Red went over to the shelf where he'd set the shard earlier picking it up to show the others, "Maybe this could help...? I found it with him after I came in here to check on him."

Vio's eyes widened as he saw it immediately beginning to struggle and reach out for it crying out, "That's mine don't touch it!"

Glancing at the shard Blue calmly asked, "Can you tell us where you got it from Vi?"

"No!" he shouted tears streaming down his face as he tried even more to escape their father's grip to retrieve it from Red. Vio wasnt sure why it was important to him, but somehow knew that it was meant for something only he could do.

As Red put the shard back on the shelf Vios cries for him to give it back grew even louder quickly turning into screams, but he knew better than that for now at least. From what he could remember Vios current behavior was reminiscent of how Link had behaved as a young child when he didnt get what he wanted.

Vios wailing and screams continued until their father placed a calloused hand over his mouth knowing exactly how to calm him down, "That's enough Vio, It's time to calm down...You can have it later okay."

The other three watched knowing exactly what their father was doing; whenever he did this with Link their father would always propose taking a nap, usually ending up with him forgetting what he had been upset about before.

After a time Red returned to the kitchen choosing to clean up, Blue of course was not far behind him.

"Red do you think that it's from....the Dark mirror?" He sighed leaning on the counter.

Red nodded a little, "Yeah...but why would it be so important to him didn't he try to break it?"

Blues dark eyes met with Reds ocean like ones looking rather sad," I think we both know the answer to that...."The two didn't converse much after that, after all Vio had been closest to him before they defeated both Ganon and Vaati together.

It would only make sense for Vio to want to try and help bring Shadow back, the two had grown to know each other so well while together. And ever since Shadows lightworld form had disintegrated hed distanced himself a bit more from them.

Red sighed dragging a hand back through his hair, "Maybe Zelda could help?"

His eyes looked hopeful as he turned towards Blue but the light in them quickly diminished as Blue shook his head, "You know as well as I do how busy they keep her...and I really doubt that they'll let her out to see us."

"That doesn't mean its not something we could try, " the two quickly looked up surprised to find Green leaning against the archway leading into the kitchen, "Besides its better than doing nothing."

Clasping his hands together Blue looked down, "Green, even if we did it'd be difficult"

"Yeah Green!" Red said as he stood up, "besides wouldn't she want to know what he was doing...."

Sighing Green walked over to the two, "I know, but its worth a shot and since when did something bein' difficult stop us? Don't you guys think she'd want to help him too?"

"I think yer just trying to make an excuse t' see her..." Blue sighed in defeat.

"Hello is there anyone here?" Vio looked around the forest curiously he didn't recognize it, but somehow it felt like he'd been there before. Looking closer at the trees they mostly seemed devoid of life, and yet there was a warm summer breeze blowing through them.

Deciding it would be best not to stand around in this place Vio started to move again praying to the goddesses in hopes of returning home. Walking he saw many familiar things, yet they also weren't familiar to him. Why was that....Had one of the others been here? He had so many questions but no answers.
