He shakes his head, letting a chuckle escape from his lips. He reaches out to the car radio and starts looking through the channels until he stops on one where the song 'Say You Won't Let Go' by James Arthur.
I give him a puzzled look, not sure what he was doing when he opened the car door and steppade outside. He shut it and jogged over to my side and opened the door. Putting out his hand for me to take, he smiles.
"What are you doing?" I ask with humor.
He rolls his eyes, "Come on, take risks, Matthews."
I bite the inside of my cheek as I let my eyes travel from his eyes to his hand that was waiting for mine to connect with. After a while I reach out and grab his hand. I have to take more risks and I had a feeling that this wouldn't be the last time.
He looks down at our interwined hands and smiles. He drags me out of the car and over to the empty spot in front of the car. The music was blasting from the car radio and James starts singing.
I met you in the dark, you lit me up
You made me feel as though I was enough
He sneaked his arm around my waist and with his free hand he took a hold of my hand and raised our hands in the air. I give him a confused expression not really sure what was going on in this moment.
"Dance with me."
I blink and look at how we were standing. The way he was holding me, the music, the empty parkinglot. He had planned it all, hadn't he?
We danced the night away, we drank too much
I held your hair back when
You were throwing up
We start swaying back and forth to the music and I feel myself getting lost in the spark in his eyes. It was a perfect moment.
Then you smiled over your shoulder
For a minute, I was stone-cold sober
I pulled you closer to my chest
"Damn, your beautiful," He says just above a whisper as he roams his eyes over my face, a small smile plastered on his perfect lips.
I blush and my eyes fall down to look at our feet.
He takes his hand off of my waist and places it under my chin, lifting my head so that I was now looking into his magnificent eyes.
He blinks a few times and shakes his head. "I mean it, Riley. You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen."
And you asked me to stay over.
I said, I already told ya.
I think thar you should get some rest.
"Lucas, I–"
"Shh," he says, pressing his index finger to my lips. "Don't tell me you aren't. You'd only be lying to yourself."

Lucas POV.
She looked beyond beautiful as we danced on the parkinglot with the song of James Arthur playing in the background. Some guys would tell a girl that she's beautiful just to get her on her knees. I was that kind of guy. I've always been and I thought I would always be.
