I begin walking away from the building. I have no place to go in mind. I'm just going to walk until I can't anymore.

Rain begins to pour down. My clothing is soaked, my hair is drenched, and I'm starting to get cold. It's pitch black out and theres not a lot of streetlights in the area, so it makes it very hard to see. I sit down at the base of a tree and hug my knees.

Suddenly a car goes driving by. I stare at it for a moment and it begins to slow down. Part of me hopes the car stopped to see if I'm okay, and another part of me hopes it didn't. A man steps out of the car. He's very tall, kind of sketchy looking, and looks to be about twenty-three.  "I swear to god if you're just stopping to be a creep or hurt me, you're making a big mistake." I say. The man lets out a slight laugh and says, "I'm not here to do that. I'm here to see if you're okay. I mean, it's kind of weird seeing a young girl out here all alone in the rain." He has a Southern accent. Hearing someone with an accent reminds me of Marcus. Then it reminds me of the awful thing he did to me..
"Yeah, well, it's none of your business." I mumble. "Alright.." He says "Well, it's obvious you don't  want any help. So I hope you have a good night." The man begins to walk back to his car. I begin to regret how I was acting towards him. I really did want his help. Even though I have no clue who this man is, he seems pretty trustworthy.

"Wait!" I say. The man stops and turns around. "C-can I get a ride? Please, thats all I'm asking for." I say. "Sure. I don't see why not." He replies.

We sit in silence for an entire fifteen minutes before he decides to break the silence. "The names Shane by the way." He says. "Destiny.." I mumble. "Alright.. Now, Destiny, can you tell me why you were out there all alone? I know you said it's none of my business, but I'm really curious." Shane says. I don't reply. He doesn't need to know anything that just happened. I barely know him and for all I know he, too, could be working for the Government.

Shane takes me to this motel close by. He pays for a room for me to stay in and walks me to it. "Well, this is my cue to go. Bye, Destiny.." He says and walks away. "Shane!" I say. He stops. "Okay..I know the car ride was the only thing I said I was going to ask for, but theres one more thing.." I say. "And that is?" Shane replies. "I'm trying to find someone and it's quite difficult to find them when you're traveling on foot.. Can you maybe help me out?" I ask. "Hmm..Depends.. Who is this person you're trying to find?" Shane asks.
"My sister.."
"And do you know where your sister is?"
"No.." I reply "But it would mean the world to me if you'd help me find her." He takes a while to respond. I'm starting to lose hope and think that he probably wont agree to this.. But to my surprise, he does.
