Instead of his reply coming in a tweet, he gets a direct message from the girl.

MusicAddict2000: If I DM you, will you see this?

"What's 'DM'?" Castiel asks, loud enough for his sibling to hear from the kitchen, but not too loud that it will wake anyone up.

"Direct Message," Gabriel informs him.

"'Kay, thanks."

Castiel: Yes.

MusicAddict2000: Ooh, cool! I wasn't sure if you had a billion conversations going on rn

"What does 'rn' mean?" Castiel asks.

"Right now," Anna answers.

Castiel: Nope. Just this one.

MusicAddict2000: Really? I figured you'd have a billion people trying to talk to you

Castiel: Nope. Just you.

MusicAddict2000: Well, aren't I special? ;) I'm Hailey, btw

"What does 'btw' mean?" Castiel asks.

"'By the way,'" Gabriel tells him.

Castiel: Nice to meet you, Hailey :)

Hailey: Nice to meet you, too. (Totally not fangirling over here or anything. Nope. Not at all.) (That was a lie.)

Castiel: Totally not freaking out because you know who I am and like my music or anything. Nope. Not at all. (That was also a lie.) :)

Hailey: Lol well I'm sure I'd be happy if I were in your shoes, too. But come on. You're awesome!!!

Castiel: Not really, but thanks.

Hailey: You are too!!!!!!

Castiel: That's just because you don't know me. I have had my beautiful reputation as "least popular kid in school," for a full 8 years.

Hailey: Then your school is stupid

Castiel: I have to agree there.

Hailey: Do they know about your awesome song?

Castiel: Nope, and probably never will.

Hailey: Then we should market it a lot and hopefully they and everyone else ever will hear it

Castiel: I think you're more committed to this than I am

Hailey: You're the one that's gonna be the next Taylor swift
