"Who are you texting?"
Chloe let out a squeak as she jumped about fifty feet in the air.
Okay maybe no fifty feet, but close enough.
Okay yeah, not even close.
"Nobody." Chloe answered quickly.
Courtney arched a perfectly groomed eyebrow.
"Oh really? So why were you grinning like an idiot?"
Chloe's felt a blush slowly creeping up her neck.
"I was not!" She shouted.
Courtney rolled her eyes.
"Sure, sure."
Suddenly, Courtney thrust her arm out and swiped the phone from Chloe's hands. She scanned it over, then furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.
"Who's idiot?" Courtney's eyes lit up as it dawned on her. "Hunter?"
"What? No!" Chloe immediately grabbed the phone away from her.
"Uh huh." Courtney leaned against the lockers, wearing a knowing smirk.
"Okay fine, it was Hunter. But it wasn't my fault! He keeps telling me creepy pick up lines!"
Courtney grinned.
"Aww that's adorable!" She squealed.
Chloe scowled.
"No it's not!"
"Aww, is Chloe blushing?" Courtney smirked.
"I am not!" Chloe groaned in frustration.
She slammed her locker close and walked away, huffing. Courtney followed close behind, quietly snickering to herself, no doubt creating an evil plan to take over the world.
Courtney: What?!
