Valentines Day - Promise ?

Bucky walked up to her. Tightly clutching the red envelope holding the card inside. He didn't even say anything to her. He just held out the card. And stood staring at the ground until she said something. She opened the card and gently opened the card inside. The inscription said ' I love you more than words can say. Be mine ?'. Her eyes glazed over as she looked up at the frightened Bucky. He was so afraid of being rejected, even though he thought it was very likely he would be.
"Yes." She whispered, little unsure of her own voice at first.
"Hmmm?" He looked up. Not believing that he heard a 'yes'
"Of course I'll be yours !!!" She said crying. She wrapped her arms around his neck. She hugged him so tightly for a second he thought she was strangling him. He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist. Hugging her tenderly like she could break if he was not careful. She loosened the hug so she could look him in the eye. Her face was a little red from crying and wet from the tears. But he thought she was beautiful. Beyond beautiful. "I'll be yours for as long as you want me." She told him sincerely.
"Promise?" He asked.
"Promise."
