THE DEAL

TD- 14

Today is a busy day for Aga. He spent half of the day inside his office, reviewing all the contracts and signing important deals. He couldn't even find a time to eat as he is really busy. He wanted, though, to invite Lea for lunch but thought that she might be busy, too.

While reviewing, his secretary opened his office door and said, "Sir, excuse me po."

He looked up and threw her a questioning look, "Yeah? May meeting?"

"Wala po, sir. May bisita po kayo. Hindi ko po agad pinapasok kasi po busy po kayo. Eh, kaso makulit ho, eh."

His eyebrows furrowed at that. He doesn't expect someone to visit him today. If this is Lea and she went here to surprise him, well, there is no way that would happen.

He properly sat down and held his pen, "Osige, papasukin mo na. Baka may kailangan."

While waiting for the visitor, he took his phone from his pocket to text the love of his life. It's almost lunch time and he wanted to remind her not to skip the meal.

Pst. Kain ka na, ha.

He heard heels clicking against the floor and that made him look up. His jaw met the floor the moment he saw who the visitor is.

Her curly ash brown hair falls perfectly down her shoulders. Her red dress perfectly defines her incomparable curves. He has totally forgotten how pretty and sexy she looks like as it has been years since they last saw each other. He has also forgotten how to approach her.

She is still a chic. She still gets his attention but definitely not how Lea gets it from him. But the question is, what is this girl doing inside his office?

"So, what do we have in your department, Vice? Any update?" she asked Vice as she crouched a bit to check the folder given to her.

"Will have a meeting with Mr. Torres later at 1pm for the update of the IT students who will have an OJT here. The rest, wala nang problema."

She nodded, "What about in Recruitment, Yna?"

"Sa ngayon po, we have more than 10 applicants for the Financial Assistant. The interview will be tomorrow. Kung makakaattend po sana kayo bukas, mas maganda so you will be there to assess the applicants."

"Anong oras?"

"9am po ang start."

"I'll let you know. Kasi ang alam ko, I have to talk to Mr. Ecleo for the account that he's been telling me. And that's important. If I can't make it, Dawn will be there with you."

This week has been very hectic, busy, and hard on her. Tons of works, meetings, and signing of contracts are kind of hindering her from even having a moment of peace but she is used to this. In her years of service, she is used to dealing with this harsh environment. There were times where she'd find herself crying but at the end of the day, she gets up to continue. That's how life works for her.

Finally, a moment of peace for her. After her last meeting this morning, she went straight to her office to take a break from work. She opened her phone only to see Aga's message. She couldn't help but smile, Aga sends her messages every now and then to check up on her, bug her, or remind her of things she usually forgets. There is clearly nothing in between.
