Walking into our new house feels really weird, i've never lived in an actual house before believe it or not! We've always lived in apartments my parents barely afforded, which is the reason they decited to start a new life in Oslo.
I stop infront of what will soon become my bedroom door and admire the space i have been given. This is the biggest room i've EVER had!
I walk in and put one of my boxes down on the bed that the last owners left behind.
I had a walk in closet and a personal bathroom!
"Nice space you've got here huh?" My dad smiles, leaning on the doorframe "its so much bigger than the room i had in Reykjavik!" I say loudly and return the smile "i have no idea what youre going to do with all this space" he laughs and walks up the stairs, propably going to help the movers with the heavy stuff.
As soon as all my stuff is in my room i start to unpack, interion decorating is my favourite thing ever!
As much as i like unpacking i cant help put start to stress about the first day of school tomorrow. I dont even speak norweigan! Well Danish is something all Icelandic children must learn so i understand norweigan alittle but not so much that i can hold up a conversation!
I'm really shy and it takes me a looong time to make friends!
I just cant see anything good about being the new girl, specially if i know i'll be the only one starting this semester.
I hope this is the fresh start i've always treamt of, i'm going to learn a new language, meet new people and discover new things i never knew about myself, maybe i'll even get a boyfriend who knows?
I get distracted my my mom telling me to come eat dinner.
Like i imagined, a warm dominos pizza greets me as i walk into the large, white kitchen.
"Has today been successfull for you?" My dad asks and passes the soda bottle over to my sister who just shrugs at his question  "i managed to unbox all my boxes, now i just have to buy some extra furniture and some little stuff" i say and pass my little brother a slice of cheese pizza.
The rest of the night we just ate alot of pizza, did some unboxing and watched TV.
A big day tomorrow for all of us!
We're all starting new schools, my parents going to their first day of work as social workers!
New city, new me.
