Bad Teacher Part 8- The Big Race Gone Bad

They all said ":Awwww! that's so sweet of you."

"C'mon Girls The Race Is About To Begin.!" yelled Coach Conroy

It was my event the last one of today I got to my lane and placed my legs in the sprinting position then I heard someone yell

"Go Alex Wooo I Believe in You!"  yelled Demi then the whole crowd chanted my name with her

I look over where Demi was sitting and I see her mouth to me.

"I Love You."

I smile and I mouthed back

"I Love You Too."

*On Your Mark Get Set *BANG*

I Ran fast not realizing that I was first I kept running and running at this point I couldn't hear beacuse I focused on the race then I ran past the finish line and all of my teammates came running to me cheering and yelling 

"We WON WE"RE STATE CHAMPIONS ALEX YOU DID IT!." yelled my coach 

I hear everyone cheer and scream then all the teachers came and started cheering with us I run over to Demi and we hug and she says

"I'm so proud of you.!" she says 

"I couldn't do it without you." I said 

I grabbed my necklace and kissed it because Demi's heart kept me going she grabs me and hugs me again. Then Coach Conroy had to clear the field for the next event my friends kept hugging me and cheering they all grabbed their stuff and decided to wait for me because I left my bag in the locker room they said

"We'll wait for you okay and We're proud of you Alex." they said

"We're a team and We did it not just me." I said 

I ran into the locker room it was deserted I walk over to my bag and I grab my phone putting it in my pocket then I hear someone say "Hi Alex" before I could turn around to see who it was  I felt something hard hit me in the head I fell to the ground and I was beginning to lose consciousness .

Demi's POV

Alex won her race and I was so happy for her she walked off the field with her friends so  I decided to wait for her in my car I can still see her friends in the field from the parking lot. 5 minutes passed nothing then 20 minutes passed I started to get worried I walk towards the field and I heard screaming I run to the locker rooms to see Hailey,Perla,Jennifer and Jasmine but Alex wasn't with them I said

"What's going on in here.!?"

They didn't respond they had tears in their eyes I walked over and see a stain of blood on the floor and Alex's bag next to it her bag had stains of blood too I began to cry we called 911 and they arrived Alex was missing and nowhere to be found I knew one of the officers his name was Wilmer he walked up to me and said

"Demi I think you should go home you had a rough day and you need some rest."

"No I want to know what happened I want to help find whoever did this!." I yelled

"Alex's friends gave us a suspect Stephanie Mchallan our officers have her in custody and our officers spoke to her but she has a checked out allaby she was with her parents during the time of the race and after."

"So there's nothing is that what you're saying you're a cop find something-"

he cut me off and said
