Have you ever been in a moment when you know time is slipping,
Yet you still act in your element, you're still laughing and trippingYou know that the life is slowly being sucked away,
And these are the last of your precious days
Yet a part of you is still overjoyed,
Living in the moment and not feeling destroyedYou know that this is what it must come to in the end,
You know this is the last, but you still pretend
That you have all the time in the world to feel done,
Accomplished in all ways, yet still have your funYou feel elated and light on your feet, despite all the pain,
With acceptance and strength you take it all with a smile on your face
Despite these being your very last days, you make it through alive,
And to make the very best of the moment you will striveSo when it's time to face the world and say your final goodbye,
You will bid it with a smile on your face, and slip away from life.~Via
