Staring out the window, watching the raindrops fall,
Pretending you're in a music video, as the thunder tops it all
Counting the cars passing by, your thoughts flowing on end,
The intricate scenery around you, creative energy it sends
Sometimes all you need, is to put your head back and think,
Process your present reality, let the old memories sink
Glancing up at the sky's tears, rejoicing in the peace,
Collectively cleansing your mind as the leaves blow in the violent breeze
Your mind repelling against the pressure, your heart screaming with agony,
Tears streaming down your face as you go throw the jolt of reality
Glancing out the window is like meeting a new face,
You see something different each time and the old memories erase
A window of opportunities stares back at you at every stage,
It's your move that matters next, let the trapped emotions escape.

Open it when you're ready to face the past. Open it when you're ready for a new window of opportunities.
But never forget to look back and unlock that door to a life you left behind.~Olivia
