The elusive beast

What is that bizarre looking creature?

the one that grunts and moans?

the thing that drags its feet like a zombie

and spends its life on a mobile phone?

What is that peculiar specimen?

the brute hidden beneath a hood?

I have no idea what it's up to

but it can't be doing any good

What on earth is the name of this character?

The cur that thinks sleep is a hobby?

the beast that consumes endless food

and has an alarmingly fast growing body?

Do tell me the name of this mortal,

the lazy rascal looks suspicious

but I'm afraid to ask it to do anything

for it looks like it could be vicious

I must expose this strangely behaving wretch

before a crime occurs that could be major

but wait a moment, upon closer inspection

... it seems that it's just the elusive teenager.
