She sat on the front steps of her house listening to her iPod. She tried contacting Landon, of course he wasn’t answering. Why would he? She’d made it clear enough that if it was about Tara Davis, then you could get away with anything. She was trying to think of ways to keep Landon from showing anybody those pictures especially her parents. If only she was as graceful as Kaitlynn then she could have joined her at that fancy dance academy, if only she was as smart as Brooke then she could have seen the trap coming. If only she was as careful as (me) then she wouldn’t dare to let any guy in. Oh well, school starts in a little less than a week. Maybe this year she could fade into the shadows of the unwanted.
