Chapter 4: Friendzoned

"Oh! Y/n, this is a first." The person behind me said and this made Kang joon roll his eyes at the voice.

Hyung-suk sat next to me. I shot him a smile and sheepishly greeted him," Oh Hey Hyung-Suk."

"Y/n!"

"What?!" I said covering my ear, Jesus Christ he almost blew off my ear drum.

"Why do you smile like that? It makes me melt." He complimented hugging me.

Nope nope... I'm to uncomfortable. I looked at Kang joon who just rolled his eyes, I tried the best I could to give him the message with my eyes that said S.O.S.

He cleared his throat," Well guys, I'll get going now. I'm really tired so I'm going to go sleep."

Hyung-suk let go of me and waved to Kang joon and I signaled a thank you to Kang joon, who completely ignored it and just walked away.

What's seriously wrong with him? He better have a good excuse.

"Wait..." I said ever so faintly.

"Y/n, did you like our game?"

I stared at Kang joon leaving and tried to respond to Hyung-suk.
"Yeah it was great, but...um...can I talk to you for a sec?"

"Sure."

We stood up and went out to the hallway.
"Please don't take this the wrong way..."

"Okay..."

I fiddled with my fingers and took a deep sigh," I don't want to get your hopes up, I'm nice to you and treat you as best as I can but I don't want you to misinterpret it."

He sighed and looked down at the floor," I understand, it's not the first time you tell me something like this."

"I'm sorry and I'm sorry if you ever thought I was taking advantage of you because of your feelings, I never meant it that way..."

"No hard feelings."

"Really?"

"Yeah, it's okay I understand your heart is somewhere else."

I blushed,"What?"

"I've kinda always knew, I just neglected the truth because I didn't want to get hurt."

"Hyung-suk..."

"Go get him."

I smiled at him,"You really are the best you know that."

"Stop I'm blushing."

"Oh, one more thing eat my food please, don't want it to go to waste. Thanks again."

"Sure thing, I was planning to do it anyway."

"Hey!"

"Just leave already." He said pushing me away.
