You're life-long best friends: Michael

 

"I’m gonna win this race Mikey!" you yelled as you just crossed the finish line in Mario Kart. Michael groaned and said "Y/N I was totally gonna win that one!"

You and Michael were best friends, and he had finally come home from tour. The down time you usually had together usually consisted of video games, and more specifically, you kicking his butt in Mario Kart.

"Pffft! As if! We all know I’m the reigning champion!" you said standing up sticking your tongue out at Michael. Michael stuck his tongue back out at you and said "So humble are we?" You then started giggling and once you started laughing, you got Michael in there too.

You two were then laying down, as you took a couple more chips out of the bowl. Michael then said “You know I’ve missed you.” You smiled and said “I did too.”

There was a silence. “So I’m guessing you still don’t have a girlfriend?” you casually asked and Michael suddenly blushed and said “Oh uh no. I-I do like this girl but just….” “Oh my god, Michael Clifford are you actually nervous to ask a girl out!” you said dramatically. Michael was NEVER nervous to ask a girl out!

Michael blushed again and said “I’m not nervous, I’m just taking my time!” “Awwww you’re so cute when you’re scared!” you said pinching his cheeks. Michael blushed an even deeper red. “So who is this girl?”

Michael then stuttered “Um….uh she’s a….erm….” Suddenly Michael’s lips were on yours in a rushed kiss and he pulled away as quickly as he leaned in.

You felt like he had taken your breath away and Michael then muttered, looking down at his tightly closed hands. “So yeah….” You then smiled and said “Mikey you should’ve just said something.” Michael looked up and said “Huh?”

You smiled, shuffling closer to him and said “I said you should’ve said something about it. I like you too.” Michael instantly relaxed and then said “So can I kiss you again?” You giggled and nodded as he kissed you again.
