It was already late in the afternoon. Paalis na kami ni Papa sa mansion pero hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa din alam kung saan ang destinasyon namin.

"Kir, hurry up and let's go." Utos ni Papa sa'kin.

"I'll be right there." I said and left my room.

"Kir, we will be going to the University. There are quizzes and games that are being held there right now." Paliwanag ni Papa sa akin as he entered the car, and I entered after him.

"What?! Why did you not allow me to go to class if the place we're going is the University? And what's with the games and quizzes?" I asked Papa while he started driving.

"Of course the quizzes and games are to help you find your vampire princess." Papa answered.

"What?! Pa, don't tell me na ang mananalo doon ang magiging vampire princess ko?! Aside from me, there's not a single vampire in the campus!" Sabi ko kay Papa.

"Well, meron na. Hanapin mo na lang. I know hindi naman lahat ng students doon ay kilala mo." Papa said.

"Tss!" I blurted.

15 minutes later.

Nakarating na kami sa Xavier University. Papa maneuvered the car and entered the gate before driving towards the parking lot. After Papa parked the car, I hurriedly ran out and ran towards my classroom. When I reached the room, I saw our professor and greeted him.

"Good afternoon, Sir Rivera. Hello classmates!" Bati ko sa kanila.

"Good afternoon din sayo, Mr. Xavier." Sagot ni Sir Rivera.

"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" The girls shouted.

'Sh*t! Ang gwapo niya talaga!'

'Sana ako ang manalo!'

'Akin ka na lang Kir!!!'

'Salamat at nandito na rin siya!'

Yan ang mga nababasa ko sa isip nila. But one girl caught my eyes. She's not familiar, probably a transferee. Her eyes and lips are red and her skin is pale. Pero ang nakakapagtaka ay kung bakit hindi ko mabasa ang isip niya.

"Heyya, Mitch! Who is that girl beside you?" Tanong ko kay Mitch.

"Huh? Ah, wait! Lalapit kami d'yan." Sabi niya bago sila lumapit sa'kin.

"What's your name, Miss?" Tanong ko.

"U-uh... I'm Kriscelle Elizabeth L. Smith but you can call me Krel. You... uh, may I ask your name?" She's stuttering which makes me think if she's nervous o kung kinikilig lang siya.

Aya: Although you are not entirely wrong with that conjecture, I had this urge na pahirapan ka dahil sa pagka-narcissistic mo.

Huwag ka namang masiyadong brutal, Miss Aya. Kaya wala kang jowa eh.

Aya: Anong jowa? Masasagutan ba niyan ang Mathematics ko?

"I'm Kir Xavier. The son of the owner of this campus." Sagot ko.

"Oh." She nodded a few times to show her understanding.

"So girls, bye na! Nice to meet you, Krel." Paalam ko sa kanilang lima bago ako bumaling kay Krel at ngumiti sa kanya. She reciprocated my smile with her own smile.

T-that smile.. it attracts me very much.

Habang naglalakad ako ay naiisip ko pa rin si Krel. Siya ba yung sinasabi ni Papa? Is she a vampire? But I didn't smell anything related to a vampire from her. Nang makabalik na ako sa carpark ay nakita ko si Papa na nag-iintay sakin.

"Did you find one?" Tanong sa'kin ni Papa na para bang alam niya na ang isasagot ko.

"Pa, who is that Krel?" Tanong ko. He smirked and remained silent as he entered the car. I also entered after Papa. Habang nasa daan ay naiisip ko pa rin... sino kaya yung Krel na yon?

Huh. Bakit kaya parang interested si Kir kay Krel? Samantalang kahapon hindi naman siya ganung ka-interested sa mga classmates namin. I sighed and clicked my tongue. Why am I even reacting this way? So what if Kir is interested in another woman? What has that got to do with me? Am I jealous?

I sighed once more. Fine, aaminin ko na! May gusto ako kay Kir. Tch. I honestly don't know as well. Pero... gusto ko ring manalo sa larong 'to. Manhid naman ata yung taong yon.

Aya: Heh. Hindi naman siya tao.

Huh? Anong sinabi mo, Miss Author?

Aya: Nothing, don't talk to me.

"Ladies, listen carefully and listen well! Itong next na quiz bee ay pang-individual naman. This block is the only block na pwedeng may mag-participate sa quiz bee na yon because our block got the highest score from the previous quiz. In short, kayo lang ang magkakalaban. Now, pumila kayo ng maayos. One line only, at pupunta na ulit tayo sa Gymnasium." Paliwanag ni Sir Rivera.

Tumayo naman ako sa upuan at pumila na. Nakita ko si Krel na nakapila din. Wait, nakapila sya?! I was surprised to see her falling in line. Bakit siya nakapila? Don't tell me she will also participate?! Then maya-maya... pumunta na kami sa gymnasium. Pagkarating namin doon ay pina-upo kami ni Sir Rivera sa bleachers. It's a good thing that me and my friends are sitting in the same row. First is Genie, followed by Jenine, next is Martha, and afterwards it's me, and Krel is at the end.

"Krel! Ba't nandito ka?" Tanong ko kay Krel sabay harap sa kanya.

"Uh? Am I not supposed to be here? But you know what Mitch, when he called for me... and when I laid my eyes on him... I fell in love with him at first sight. Oh my, he's really so dazzlingly handsome, and he's cute as well." Paliwanag niya. Somehow nakaramdam ako ng inis and jealousy at the same time.

"First question! Aside from werewolves, which supernatural being has a “mate”?" The host asked. Sh-t, akala ko ba related kay Kir ang tanong? Bakit napapunta sa supernaturals? Ano 'to, story sa Wattpad?

Aya: I TOLD YOU GUYS TO STOP BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL!

So what should I write as an answer? A hybrid? But that's too in general. Let's see... werewolves... hmm... fox... yes, that's it! I wrote fox as my answer.

"Raise your answers! The correct answer is VAMPIRES!" The host exclaimed.

"Oh my, I got it right!" Sigaw ni Krel. I clicked my tongue while looking at the smile in Krel's face.

"Next question! Ano ang pangalan ng paternal cousin ni Kir?" The host asked and once again did not specify the gender. Tch! Ano bang name..? Manghuhula na nga lang ako! Hmm... babae ba? O lalaki? Tch! I think Kir mentioned before that all his cousins are women.

"Raise your answers! The correct answer is Jonna!" The host exclaimed.

"I knew it, I'm really good at guessing!" Excited na sabi ni Krel sa tabi ko. Tch! Panalo siya! Ang kaisa-isang panalo at nakasagot ng 2 correct answers. Dammit!

"Okay ladies, it's time to go back to our classroom." Sir Rivera said and motioned for us to follow. Seeing Kreal celebrating happily made my face darken.
