chapter 11- A night out

Hey guys, I’m not getting as many votes as I had hope, please tell me if I’m doing something wrong, do I need to add something or is it getting confusing.  COMMENT!!!!

Chapter 11

A night out

 I made my way up the stairs I heard the front door shut, I turned around to see Lily with a creepy smile on her face.

“Well I guess congratulations are in order, I heard you won the challenge”

“erm …thanks” I whispered.

“But don’t think for one second that you would have won if I was there” She told me coldly.

Now that I think about it why wasn’t she here today. As if reading my mind she spoke to me

“ I had very important things to do, things you clearly wouldn’t understand, being a normal person and all”

Why does she say it as if it would be a disease to be normal!  I rolled my eyes, she wouldn’t late long trying to be normal. She would probably expect people to be nice and show her respect all the time. I would love to see her try that, actually go to a public school where no one would know who she is. Now that I would pay to see.

“I have to go” I told her as i continued up the stairs.

“Have fun” She said sarcastically to me.

I made my way back up the stairs and to my room, where I literally had to bat Isabella out of the room, because she wanted to make me look so gorgeous but I have other plans.

I catched my hair in a messy ponytail and I grab jeans and my ruffle layered purple tank top. I put on a little bit of lip gloss and left my room. That’s when my nerves kicked in. Just breathe I thought to myself. I made my way down the stairs, with each stop my stomach tying in my knots. Then I saw him at the bottom of the stairs, he looked great, with his jeans and his fitted white shirt that complimented his abs. Wow I wonder when he finds the time to work out.

“You look great Kate”

“thanks so do you, I don’t think I ever seen you dress so casual’

“Well I just want to blend in, no distractions tonight”

“shall we go”

“yes”

We drove for about 15 mins until he pulled up to a park.  I was thinking move of a movie or something but ok.

“I know this isn’t your ideal date but I just wanted to talk and get to know each other better.” Jake said.

 As we were walking I noticed there was a lot of people here, there seem to be a party over by the lake.

“So do you have any sibling”

I was a little spectacle about telling him about my life, maybe I should just full on lie to him, but what if I forget what I told him then he would figure out I was a fraud. So I settled on the best lie which is to tell him something close to the truth.

“Um yeah I have a younger brother names shawn”

“ok that’s cool, so are you from America or your we’re just going to school there.”

“oh um”

Lie to him

Tell him the truth , why should I add on more lies to what I’ve already told him”

“ I am from the Netherlands” (AN: for my story lets make Netherlands official language English)

I hope he doesn’t ask me anymore question, because I don’t want to slip up. I should change the subject quickly.

“It’s a beautiful night isn’t it?” 

That was so lame couldn’t I come up with something else.

“You it is especially with you here”

I  look away and blushed.

Jake placed his finger under my chin and gently lifted my head, so I was looking in his hypnotizing blue eyes.

Kate you’re an amazing person and tonight I am the luckiest guy. Listen Kate I really like you and honestly none of those girls can compare to you, so I was thinking—“

“Don’t” I spoke so softly I thought he wouldn’t hear me”

“Jake I don’t want you to make a hasty decision tonight, but don’t get me wrong I like you too but we don’t know each other that well, so lets just take it one day at a time”

You know what I thought I could come here and make him not like me but honestly, I’ve lost the will to do that I just want to know him more, and maybe I can win this competition.

“Ok I understand, and kate this is the happiest day of my life, thank you for being here”

I smiled at him, I was at a lost for words.

Jake placed him hand on my cheek and leaned into me, I closed my eyes, his lips gently touched mine, when he noticed I didn’t pull away he kissed me with more force.

It was amazing, I felt so safe and happy right now, nothing could changed my mood.

He pulled away smiling, he took my hand and we continued walking. I was floating on cloud 9.

“Katerine?” I heard a voice behind me

“Katherine is that really you?”

I turned around and all the colour drained from my face.

“No” I whispered.

Yeah the finally kissed. About time right.

So who do you think the mystery person is, comment and tell me!!

It’s short I know, but I’ve been really busy with midterms and just school in general. I hope you all forgive me and continue to read my story.
