The Third Choice

'Yes' and 'No' are becoming the only options today;
One's response always needs to be a 'Yeah' or a 'Nay'.
'Maybe' and 'Maybe not' aren't accepted if you say;
The middle-path is no more considered to be a way.

Two separate waves are flowing, each in a different direction;
You are bound to possess one or the other perception.
No one's gonna agree to sit and think of a third decision;
If you try to differ, they're gonna stoop down to aggression.

Choose one, either be a feminist or a sexist;
You have to be one, a leftist or a rightist.
There isn't any more than two options on the list;
You have to agree or disagree, abstaining doesn't exist.

Chant your nation's name, or get kicked off to another country;
Be an atheist or completely surrender your life to the Almighty.
No matter if it all gives rise to a worldwide blasphemy;
Extremism persists, you can't be moderate in field any.

"You oppose this? Then you must be supporting that one."
No dude, you can't make me choose on the point of a gun!
The law of excluded middle is being taken too seriously by everyone;
There is a dire need for the third choice's addition.

Dear fellows, grey should also get a place between black and white;
The world should be allowed to be neither dark nor bright.
Remember that only dusk can bring about the beauty of a night;
Life too is a similar circle like that of a day's light.
'This' and 'that', 'all' and 'none' should exist side by side;
Let's all be more compatible without being wrong or right!
