"Let's go out to eat! Please~" My best friend kept trying to pull me out of my bed.
"Soo Jin please just leave me alone." I shoved my face in my pillow hoping she would leave.
"Ya! Hanuel! Please! You haven't gotten out of this bed in a week, let's go do something." She kept tugging on my leg and I let out a sigh.
"Fine." I mumbled.
"YAY! Hurry get dressed! And wash your face before we leave too."
"Yah!" She ran out of my room as soon as I yelled. "How rude."
I rolled off my bed and went into the bathroom. I looked like a mess and I wasnt mad about it. I've never cared much for my appearance. I quickly washed my face and put my hair up leaving my bangs down on my forehead. I didn't put makeup on or anything like that because it seemed like a waste of time. I got dressed quickly putting on a crop top, shorts, and timberlands.
"Soo Jin-ah! I'm ready!" I yelled as I ran down the stairs to meet her.
"How do you look so pretty without any effort." She rolled her eyes and she walked out the door as I followed her laughing.

"Oh my god Soo Jin. Hamburgers my favorite." I said when I read the sign of the place she parked at.
"Of course. You're always craving them since you don't get them much here in Korea. I wanted to make you happy since you agreed to get out of the house." She spoke with a smile on her face. I was smiling as well even though I was upset that I was t in my bed. Soo Jin knows me better than anyone else and she knows how much I miss being in America.
I moved to Korea because my parents wanted me to visit my family here and so that I could experience what it's like where they were born. Don't get me wrong I love it in Korea but I will always be a California girl.
"Stop staring at the sign and let's go eat." My best friend grabbed my wrist and dragged me into the restaurant.

"Let's go shopping!" My eyes grew wide at Soo Jin's words.
"Yah! I only agreed to eat with you. Not to go shopping!" I yelled at her causing her to flinch and the car swerved a bit.
"Lee Haneul-ah! You can't yell at me while I'm driving! And I know but I'm so happy that you finally got out of the house we have to do something more!" I looked over and saw her smiling while watching the road in front of her. I laughed a bit at how focused she was.
"Fine." I rolled my eyes but I was secretly happy to do stuff with her.
"Oh you didn't have to agree cuz you were going to go if you wanted to or not." I laughed at her and she laughed too.
"Thanks."
"No problem." She shrugged and focused on the road. "Okay we're here."

"Well that was fun." I said as I collapsed on my bed and Soo Jin collapsed onto her bed across the room from mine.
"I think I'm going to be broke for a while." She stared at all her bags in disbelief.
"I told you not to buy all that. You never listen." I scolded her but she ended up laughing.
"Whatever. I'm tired. I'm going to sleep." She rolled over on her side facing away from me.
"Thanks for today. I missed hanging out with you." I whispered and stood to turn the lights off leaving only the light from the moon shining into the room.
"Thanks for not killing me today." I laughed and walked out the room to wash my face and change into pajamas.
I finished washing my face when my phone began to vibrate on the counter.
"That's strange. No one texts me except for Soo- wait is it little Ha Soonnie texting his noona-" I flipped over my phone and there was no name just a random number with English under it.
