Tris's P.O.V

----------------

There he was. Tobias. I ran into his arms and started crying.

"How are you still alive!?!" said Tobias.

I never really had anytime to think about it. "um.... I don't really know."

"Oh well, it doesn't matter. All that matters is your still alive!"

He started crying and kissed me. I could taste the salty, bitter tears off his lips. It felt great. A rush of electricity shot through me

like a lightning bolt. How was I still alive. Maybe Eric will know. Then to big hands grabbed me around the waste and threw me to the floor.

It was Eric.

"You can't get away with this Tobias! I love her and now... shes mine."

His voice started to crack like he was holding back tears. "Eric you can't do this!" I screamed as I struggled to get back up. Once I was

on my feet Eric pressed a cloth to my mouth. That's when I blacked out.

Eric's P.O.V

---------------

I don't want to be like this anymore. A murderer. I almost killed her with the amount of chloroform that was on that cloth. She

blacked out as soon as she stood up. She fell into my arms. I put my arms under her ,bridal style, and ran for it. Tobias was in

shock so it was easy to get away. Almost to easy. It seemed as though he didn't want her anymore. Like he disliked her more

than he disliked me. I got to the truck I stole from one of the abandoned houses and put her in the back seat. I drove off as

quickly as I could. I thought to myself, this is going to be the last time Tobias will ever see her again. the first house we made it

to was an old rickety house that I'm pretty sure has a basement. I grabbed the chair and rope from the bed of the truck and took

them inside. I came back and took Tris out of the truck and into the house. I went down to the basement and there was an old

bed. I sat her in it and put the chair in the corner where the only light shines. I grabbed her off the bed and set laid her in the

chair. I tied her feet the the legs of the chair and her arms to the back of the chair. Then she slowly woke up.
