"Autumn come down we need to talk before our guests arrive"
"Coming mother" Autumn replied but did not mean it. She has spent the last fifteen minutes in her underwear trying to decide what she wanted to wear.
Maybe she liked him? Or perhaps she just wanted to make a good impression on Wrens parents.
All because she fancied him. Autumn liked the boy she barely knew and knows so much about all at the same time.
Forgotten was that her mother had called her down to the kitchen.
