There was something about the large, white warrior. Maybe it was his kindness, or his gentle intellect, or even his goofy traits, that made Goldenpaw smile so wide. She hadn't realized she had been staring until she felt his soft tail drag carelessly over her nose, shocking her back into reality with a quiet chuckle.
"You and your daydreamin', lil un." Snowheart purred softly, his eyes narrowing down gently on the small apprentice before him. "Come on, we best be back to camp. Moonfur might get worried."
"Wait...." Goldenpaw opened her jaws for a moment, but closed them with a wavering gaze, "I gotta get my mouse. That I buried."
Snowheart nodded his mighty head, "I'll wait." He chuckled, before padding a few fox-lengths ahead.
Goldenpaw held back a sigh, closing her golden eyes. 'Lil un. She liked that nickname.'
