"Shoot!"
Pharaoh and Winter pause and look at the outcome. Elisabeth nods her head and immediately goes to a podium and vote. The twins both stare at the ground
One vote down. Two to go.
"Would you like to know who the person leaving is?" Pharaoh asks the twins.
The twins doesn't answer and Winter votes the way she promised.
"Week one I always thought that our alliance of five would make it to the final five. That would have been dope. Then after that may the best man win. Good game and good luck." Roys says.
"Goodbye Mr. Masters." Pharaoh gives his last farewells. Nathan notice the eye contact and understands that he is the one to go.
"Goodbye Mr. Lewis, goodbye to you two wonderful ladies, and last of all, Roy. I usually don't say this, but I love you. I had a great sixteen years of life. Just vote so this can be over."
Pharaoh presses the button on his lone podium facing the two chairs. The wall behind the twins transitions from past games to the numbers 3-0. The five players face away from each other to not see what's going to happen. Nathan's wristbands starts to beep faster and faster until it sounds like one continuous beep. The baby blue nano chips in his body begins to glow through his body in several places. His veins slowly starts to blacken as if poison entered his body. He squirms his body in his chair until his body stiffens and an oil sheen covers his skin. His eyes roll to the neck of his head and the blue lights in his body dims into darkness. Nathan's chair falls into the ground and the lone podium on the left of the chairs follow leaving only two podiums left.
Now off to the final four. Swift's voice speaks through the room. "That round was very entertaining. Let's go straight into the next round. Inside the tube will be two blue cubes and two red cubes. Half of you will have your life in the hands of the other half hands. Either Winter, Pharaoh, Elisabeth, or Roy will not make it to the fantastic finale. You may now pull."
The final four are all terrified and shooken. No one has eaten in hours and no one know how long they have been inside the cube. It could have been only an hour or they could have been in there for days. They way the game messes with everyone's mind, time is just a burden. Their clothes are all disheveled from taken off and putting back on clothes because of the temperature changes. All just finished off one twin and now they have to go straight into killing off another person without having time to grieve.
"Lets just get this game over with. I'll go first." Roy jitters out of his seat and slyly chooses a cube hoping not to pull his third red cube. "Rule number one: don't pull a red cube." He chuckles and opens his palm to observe the first blue cube this round. After he sees what color his cube is, the cube evaporates into thin air as usual.
"Alt least we can say we made it to the final four. We beat ten people and we are almost done."
Elisabeth pulls next. She is the only person to never become a finale nominee. He once fluffy curly purple fro is now matted and uneven from her process of playing this game. She wishes her game cane as easy as it did for her mother. Her mother had an alliance of all girls and they played the men into going against each other until all were gone. Then she has a free ride into being the lone winner of the 101th game. But Elisabeth has to pray and hope that she has at least one person on her side. Her small skinny frame only gotten skinnier from not eating and the stress that the game brings to her. Her chocolate skin somehow lost color as if she's on her last inning on her lifespan. She unclench her palm with the small cube inside to see one thing that her mother had to go through. A red cube. Emotionlessly takes a seat in the blue chair awaiting the next person to pull the dreaded cube.
The final four is the worst time to pull a red cube. The two people who pulls the blue cube could end the game if they vote in different ways. It would be a tie and both people would die leaving the other two victorious.
Winter is right in front of the tube. Her once straight long silver hair is now a crinkly old mess that could belong to an old woman. Her eyes are now puffy and red even though she only been on the block once. Memories of her parents selling their only child so they can keep their riches haunts her every minute. Knowing that even if she win, she will have to start her life over with nothing. No family or career. Winter has a fifty percent chance of opening her palm to another red cube with Pharaoh standing across from her with a cube in his hand.
Pharaoh stands shirtless showing his slim dark muscles and his wrist tattoos. The heat of the room was unbearable under his hoodie. His thin hoodie is now used as a headband to balance his long dreads tied into a knot. No one minds him being half naked since people understand him. Who would expect that the infamous Pharaoh Lewis would have to struggle with living. The boy who was known worldwide with a normal life now have a shot of dying because he was tricked into playing a game. Winter and Pharaoh acknowledge each other and open their palms at the same time. This time not the same as when they were an alliance. Strictly the will to live is the only alliance standing. The two looks at their hands and Pharaoh walks his way back into the seat instead know with someone he really cares about. Someone who would bring him out of the game with her is sitting next to him.
One person was forced into the game by government because of conspiracy of their mother. While the other signed up for a game show that could give them a million dollars, but was kidnapped and taken to play this instead. Both do not deserve to be playing this game, but they have to for themselves.
Only two votes compared to the first round when there was twelve votes. Winter and Roy could easily vote differently and become co winners, one a miracle could happen and a final three could be possible. Even if that miracle did happen, either Pharaoh or Elisabeth will be leaving.
"Today sucks right?" Elisabeth starts.
"I have to go against Pharaoh who I love to protect myself. I have to stay. If I don't then my mother will also die. We can't lose twins and kins. My mother can not be without me for long. Please, both of you save me. Or at least please vote together to give one of us a chance."
Pharaoh stays quiet.
"Ok. Let's vote together Roy. We know how the game reacts to tie votes, we know for sure we won't win that easy if we tie the vote." Winter says on the lone podium in front of the two chairs.
"Agreed."
Winter and Roy whisper argues for minutes all leading a clearly indecisive decision going on. Pharaoh and Elisabeth are unsure about who's with who but knows that one are against them.
"Alright! Fine!" Winter says and votes. One more vote to go.
From her tone it is shown that Roy has the vote in his favor and he votes with a sadness on his face.
The wall behind the chairs changes from the winners faces to the numbers 2-0.
The wristband starts to beep violently and bright blue dots glowing through their clothes. A muffled boom echoes from their body.
Elisabeth's eyes reddens and blood pours from her mouth.
"I-I did...so much fo-" she struggles to say but is cut off by her own demise. He small frail body slumps across the seat. Her mother worked so hard for her to never be in the position to fail many years later over bitterness. Her chair descends and so does one podium leaving a lone podium across the chairs.
