We were on out way back to Austin's house the ride was quiet and then we got there it was a one story house and he had an basement he lived with his step dad sister and brother it was a clean house and it was fairly nice Austin told me his brother is never home and he said his step dad was a jerk so don't talk to him he lead me into the house his sister was asleep on the couch we walked into the basement
"Here sit down I'm gonna go get blankets"
"Ok"
I sat waiting for him the basement had a couch a 45 inch flat screen tv and a coffee table it wasn't to big. he came back with blankets and pillows he made me a bed on the couch then he made him a bed on the ground
"So do you want to play 20 questions?"
I thought this would be boring but we had nothing else to do so I said
"Yes"
"Ok I'll go first. what's your favorite color"
"Black I know that's weird but yeah otherwise I kinda like maroon"
It was my turn so I thought
"Who was your first kiss?"
"Cassie Blackwell"
"I don't know who that is"
"Yeah she moved any way are you anorexic?"
"NOOOO! Are you crazy I eat a lot"
"Sorry you just so skinny well not gross skinny you have a nice ass"
I just laughed I didn't know what to say
"It's ok. why did you need the money that I was giving you?"
"Well my dad doesn't work my brothers always gone my sister and I can't afford all this and we both have school"
"I'm sorry"
"Yeah I'm sorry for forcing you to give me the money"
"It's ok"
"Ok Aubree I have one more question for you"
"What?"
"Are you scared of me?"
I had no idea what to say he does scare me. He always has a gun or knife the first time I ever talk to him he put a gun to my head so yeah I was scared of him!
"Hello? answer me!"
"Why would I be scared of you?"
"Because you always flinch and you always apologize to me like I'm gonna hurt you and you never ever get close to me you always keep this distance!"
"Well maybe because the first time I every hug out with you you put a gun to my head then made me give you money and tackled me to the ground!"
"It was one simple question!!! Are you scared if me?"
"YES!"
I just let it slip out of my mouth I screamed it at him I didn't know what to do so I just got up sat on the couch and laid down facing the other way after that I just remember hearing him watch T.V. and I slowly fell asleep
"BANG" I woke up to a down slamming so did Austin he looked at me worried
"AUSTIN!"
There was this man yelling for him he yelled it kinda funny I was sure he was drunk
"Ill be right back"
"No Austin don't please"
"AUST- NEVER MIND I GOT YOUR SISTER!!!!"
I heard his sister scream and glass was breaking they were yelling and fighting all you could hear was their loud noises
"Austin I'm scared I'm sorry I made you mad earlier just please do some thing I'm so scared"
"Ok"
He went and locked the doors the shut off the lights and T.V.
"Just be quiet we'll be fine I promise"
"But your sister?"
"I can't do any thing about it"
I couldn't help but worry I was scared and I though his sister was going to die the next thing I knew Austin was hugging me he put his arms around me and rested his chin on top of my head
"Please don't be scared you'll be safe I won't let him touch us"
I couldn't talk I was in shock
"Ok"
We just sat there listing and not talking for the longest time It got quiet and you could hear his sister crying softly through the vent I calmed down knowing she wasn't dead Austin got up walked over to the vent and said
"Lilly I'm down hear don't tell dad I have a girl with me she needed to stay some were are you ok?"
"I-I-I'm fine just be safe Austin please he is looking for you I-I-I-I love you"
"I love you too Lilly. I have no phone down here so I can call the cops just hang in there"
"Austin please just stay down there until he's gone I'll be ok I promise"
He said ok and came and sat by me again we were on the floor covered in blankets he told me to lay down and go to sleep do I did I was starting to fall asleep right when I did I heard a gun shot
"Austin what are we gonna do!"
"Just stay quiet!"
I thought his sister was dead for sure his dad was yelling so loud my heart was pounding
"AUSTIN AUSTIN GET OUT HERE NOW!!!!"
"I'm gonna go ill be ok I promise"
"No Austin don't!!"
"I'm sorry"
He went out there and I heard yelling and screaming and banging they were so violent I was hoping Austin got a gun then I head another gun shot I didn't know if it austin or his dad there was no sound I waited ten minutes before I herd sirens down the street they came in I heard Austin's dad yelling and saying it was self defense the next this that was in my mind was
"Austin's dead"
I was waiting tell they got his dad in cuffs then the basement door slammed open it was Austin he started walking down the stairs to find me but I ran up and jump on to him and hugged him so tight i was so happy he wasn't dead
"Austin what happened? Are you ok? Is Lilly ok?
"I have to take you home"
"No!"
"Yes come on"
"No Austin your hurt and I don't want to go home"
"YOUR GOING HOME I DON'T WANT YOU IN THIS HOUSE ANY MORE!!!"
I just walked up the stairs afraid to see what was out there I looked around and say every thing broken and blood every wear cops taking pictures and caution tap all around we got out side and there was a news car and police every wear people came up to us asking question Austin just grabbed my hand pulled me through and we got in the car he drove me home the ride was silent and I was so mad he was just making me leave and not even saying any thing else when we finally got to my house I wouldn't get out
"Go on"
"No I'm not leaving"
"Yes you are!"
"No! you won't tell me any thing! I'm not leaving until I get an answer!"
"Fine I'm fine now leave!!!"
"You are a fucking jerk Austin I hope you know that!!"
"Good don't talk to me again now leave!"
I got out of the car crying as soon as I shut the door he drove straight off I got the hidden key under the mat and walked in every one was asleep so I just went took a shower and went to bed I couldn't stop thinking about what happened and how he just left me.
