Eventually, the teacher had given up on the silence. It was then that Luke came up with an announcement for each one of his classes. The following day, he stood before his students shortly after the bell rang. The man cleared his throat loudly.

"It has come to my attention that one of you has found it rather funny to leave me notes."

The serious tone seemed to touch every student, but there was one in particular. Ashton's cheeks heated shamefully. He bowed his head, doodling in his notebook. Ashton had already begun to write another note.

"This is very immature, and I will have you know that the school will not tolerate this. So, before I get the rest of the staff involved, I suggest you quit it. It's not a joke." Luke's words were clear. Everyone heard them.

However, like the majority of the time, Ashton tuned out the speech and continued his actions. This time, he altered his penmanship.
