Stay Away

Stevie awoke to someone stroking her cheek, fluttering her eyes, she opened them fully, seeing Lindsey and shoving him hard so he stumbled off the side onto the floor

"What are you doing here? Stay away from me! I want a divorce!"

"Baby no please..."

"I'm serious Lindsey, you fucked..." She was stopped in her tracks when he grabbed her face roughly and made her look at him

"STOP! LISTEN TO ME GODDAMMIT!"

Startled Stevie stopped and looked at him, he continued to hold her face still

"I did not cheat on you Stephanie!"

"Now your just covering, I heard you say yes you slept with her, don't lie to me!" she yelled

"I WAS TALKING TO OUR DAUGHTER!" He shouted back

"What...?"

"She came into the living room when I was talking to you and asked if mommy was on the phone, so I said yes, it hadn't clicked that's what you asked until it was to late...fuck Stevie, your carrying my child again and we are a family, you think I would jeopardize that?" when she said nothing he carried on talking

"And you saying you thought I found you gross and disgusting, do you have any idea how much that hurt? This..." He placed his hand on her stomach "Is an absolute miracle, you fully glow when you are pregnant, there isn't a second of the day where I don't want you! So no I do not find you disgusting, I find you beautiful and sexy and everything in between, how dare you try and tell me how I see you!" They were both crying, Lindsey getting up and Stevie grabbing his hand

"Linds wait..." He pulled his hand free

"No, I'm going downstairs, Robin is with Christine, I want you to have a good long think about what I've said, and what you've accused me of!"

"What was I supposed to think? You reeked of perfume and you had lipstick all over your t shirt Lindsey"

"Because Eva was all over me! But I pushed her away, you know why? Because I'm a happily married man who's wife is more than enough for him, I have a daughter and a baby on the way, and lastly because I'm fucking loyal!" he didn't utter another word, just walked out the bedroom and closed the door behind him

Stevie could have kicked herself, why could she not just let him explain for once instead of straight away blowing everything out of the water

She left it about ten minuets before she went downstairs, seeing Christine playing in the garden with her new niece, she then spotted Lindsey on the couch, the back of his head resting on the back of it, walking round she made eye contact with him, picking his arm up and sitting herself in his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and crying into the crook of it 

"I'm so sorry...please don't leave me...I can't do this alone...I need you" He cried at her words, wrapping his arms around her and tangling his hand in her hair, kissing any part of her head he could reach

"I'm not leaving you baby, your my wife" he fiddled with the ring he had placed on her finger yesterday

"She's going to fight us even harder for Robin now I said no"

"I know...We can fight this together thought"

"I don't want you getting this worked up again though Steph, your not doing any favors to my kid in there!" he pointed to where his son or daughter was

"I know I'm sorry Linds..."

"I know sweetheart, I love you"

"I love you too!" a few minuets later they heard footsteps running through from the garden

"MOMMY!" Robin said before throwing herself on top of Stevie

"Hey princess"

"Mommy auntie Chris said I could stay here tonight if you said yes!" 

"Auntie Chris already?" Lindsey chuckled

"What can I say? The kids love me" she joked

"I just thought you two needed an evening at home, alone, doing what every you please, but don't feel like you need to elaborate on that one though!" she shook her head to get the image out

"I don't know, we've never left her before..." Stevie spoke

"She'll be fine honey, we've known Chris longer that anyone, I'm sure she can cope"

"Your right! Thank you Chris!"

"No problem! I'll drive home with you guys in my car, you can give me her stuff and then I'll bring her back here"

"Sounds good, you ready to go now?"

They had drove back home and handed over Robin and her things and were both sat on the floor in front of the fire

"Linds...?"

"Yeah?"

"Are we going to be okay?" He looked at her now

"In what way? You are I or?"

"Well that's the main one..."

"We're always okay honey"

"What about with Robin? Do you think we will get to keep her?"

"I think so, you and I are tough cookies, don't mess with us when were together!" They both let out a laugh and then they just stared at each other for a little while

"Come here..." He pulled her onto his lap so she straddled him, his back was against the sofa and the glow of the fire was the only light illuminating them

Breathing slowly Lindsey brought his wife forward by the back of her neck and kissed along it, leaving a wet trail, eventually getting to her mouth and savoring their kiss, looking her in the eyes he unzipped his pants and pulled himself out, he knew they would both be ready so he moved Stevie's underwear to the side and guided himself into her, not taking his eyes from her for a second

"Mmmm" Stevie hummed, concentrating on the rhythm they had automatically set

"I love you so much..." Lindsey gasped

"I love you too..."

They made love slowly and surly, it was beyond romantic and had them both in tears

"Linds...please..." 

Lindsey knew what she was asking and brought his hand between them, it was easier been as she was still straddling him, touching her most sensitive part she jerked forwards and shook heavily 

"LINDSEY...!" She screamed as she came, him circling his hips and following, grunting into the side of her neck as he released inside her, once their breathing returned to normal he stroked her hair softly and placed kisses on her head until she fell asleep, him hoping he was right and they would be okay
