"NO! Absolutely not!" Stevie said sternly

"Stevie this is in her best interest!"

"Bullshit! Her best interest is with us, with her mother and father"

"Your so deluded, you think she actually thinks of you as her parents? She will be fine without you I'm sure" Lindsey stood up and picked Robin up from Stevie's arms

"You want to see why she is better with Stevie and I?" he told her, placing Robin down by Eva's feet and walking back over to Stevie, taking her hand and pulling her up, walking to the door with her and walking out closing it behind them

"Lindsey what are you doing?"

"Wait for it..." within a second of him saying that a loud shriek came from within the office

"DADDDDDDY? MOMMMMMMY?" followed by loud sobs, Lindsey bursting back in and picking Robin back up, sitting her on his hip as she clung to him, her crying automatically stopping

"You see? We are her parents now, end of! I came here also to ask whether we could start an adoption application"

"Look I really think she could do well at this place" Jill spoke now

"Can you reject and application?" he ignored Jill and spoke to Eva

"No, we have to put it through"

Lindsey picked up Robins bear that had fallen from her grasp and told Stevie they were going

"Start it then!"

"I will but I warn you now, if it's a no at the end, I will take legal action to ensure that she will go to Portland, is that clear?"

"Like a crystal!" Stevie spat

Quickly getting out of there Stevie stopped on the steps, Lindsey noticing and turning round, seeing her touch her stomach

"What's the matter? Is it the baby?"

"Just a twinge...I'm fine" Lindsey walked over and placed his hand on top of hers

"Anymore and we go to the hospital yes?" he kissed her when she agreed and they worked together getting Robin into her car seat

Driving home Stevie was deathly quiet, Lindsey grabbing her hand and holding it tight within is own

"Whats up baby?"

"What if they won't let us adopt her Linds?"

"How about we cross that bridge when we get to it?" Stevie nodded and they drove the rest of the way in silence, Robin gabbling in the back, once they returned back home Stevie was the one to remove Robin from the car seat, carrying her inside, kicking her shoes off and then taking Robins off too

"What do you want to do sweet girl?"

"Cuddle please mommy" Stevie sat down on the sofa and Robin moved so she had either leg on each side of Stevie's hip, Lindsey sat down next to them, smiling, Robin shifted carefully before speaking

"Its okay mommy, I won't squish baby" Stevie and Lindsey looked at each other confused

"What baby?"

"This one" Robin placed her tiny hand on top of Stevie's stomach and rubbed little circles

"When are they coming out? I really want to play with her"

"How do you know its a her?" Lindsey asked stroking Robins hair

"I don't I just want a sister"

Stevie sat cuddling her daughter for a while, Robins hand still in the same place, Stevie asking the next question

"Anyways missy, how do you know about the baby?"

"Daddy keeps touching you here and saying baby"

"Ooooooh my little girl has ears!" Lindsey spoke causing Robin and Stevie to laugh, Robin climbed off Stevie and crawled over to Lindsey

"Daddy?"

"Yes sweet girl"

"Will you still love me when my sister gets here?"

"Oh baby! Of course we will, your our special little girl!"

"What if they take me away daddy?"

"They won't sweetheart"

"But what if they do?"

"Well they can try! But let me tell you miss Robin, your mommy is pretty scary when she's mad!" Lindsey told her and Robin flashed Stevie the biggest smile ever, scooting back over and laying down in her lap

"Can I have a nap mommy? I'm tired"

"Of course you can my angel" Stevie smoothed Robins hair down and after she had kissed the cocoon that her brother or sister was in she fell asleep

"Doesn't take her long does it?" they both laughed, Stevie quickly got up holding Robin and took her to her bed, placing her down and returning back to Lindsey

"She's very intelligent for her age" Lindsey said

"She's just very good at listening is all"

"Steph?"

"Yes Lindsey?" she looked at him

"I have an idea to put to you"

"Okay?"

"I think we should get married tomorrow"

"Tomorrow?" Stevie's eyes went wide

"Yes, if they find out that we lied about being married they will take her off us for sure"

"Oh god, your right! I had kinda forgot that we aren't married" Lindsey touched her cheek

"Me to Steves, so what do you think?"

"I think you are right, we will look for someone tomorrow"

"Seriously?" Lindsey asked shocked and Stevie nodded eagerly

"Thank you!" He pulled her over until she was in his lap

"No more twinges?" Placing his hand on her stomach, making small circles

"No not at the moment"

"Please tell me if you do honey, I can't...I can't bare to lose another baby with you..." a few tears rolled down Lindsey's cheeks and Stevie wrapped her arms around his neck, breathing him in

"It's okay baby...they are okay...I'll do my best to keep them inside me for as long as I possible can"

"You kept our first in there to term...and she still...I'm so sorry Steph, I should have looked after you more, it's all my fault, I shouldn't have spent so much time with my guitar trying to make new music...I should have just been content with spending time with you, I just wanted to make sure we would be okay financially, I didnt want either of you to go without...ever...and then she was gone" Lindsey began to cry and Stevie was so shocked she just sat there stunned

"Linds...baby look at me" when he wouldn't she placed her hands on his face and tilted his head up to meet her gaze

"You told me never ever to blame myself for what happened, you said it was nobody's fault, these things happen...well I'm saying the same to you, it was unfortunately the saddest thing we will ever have had to go through in our life, but nobody was to blame Linds, she just wasn't ever supposed to be with us, she was born to be an angel and we need to see the beauty in that" making Lindsey lay down on the sofa and squeezing on next to him cuddling him front to front, after a few minuets of her playing with his curls she heard soft snores coming from him, he was so tired, she just hoped they would have an easy ride from now on, even though she knew things with them were never easy!

So I've had this wrote for like a week and I've just got round to finishing it and posting, hope you enjoyed! Xo
