Alone Again.

Cold. That's all I could feel at that current moment. It was the middle of winter and I was running barefoot down an unknown road in the middle of nowhere. Light snow was falling and the dirt was packed down, it felt like tile under my worn out feet. I had been running for more than an hour at this point and it felt like my fingers and toes were going to fall off. My nose and cheeks were cherry red and steam came out of my mouth like a steam engine. My eyes kept watering which made it hard to see and I could hardly breathe. I hadn't eaten in 5 days, and I felt like I could pass out at any moment.
All of a sudden I felt the ground slip out from under me and fell face first in the snow. I quickly sat up and tried to wipe the snow out of my eyes but I only made it worse. I then grabbed my torn cloak and rubbed the snow from my face, and started to cry. I didn't know why I was crying, it just felt like the right thing to do.
I quickly recollected myself and close my eyes and took long deep breaths. It was quiet, dare say, peaceful. It was so silent, I could hear the blood quickly flowing through my veins. I could hear the snow hit the ground, it sounded much like when you gently toss a pillow on freshly made sheets. For one in my life, I was calm, relaxed even. But then I heard horses hooves in the distance, I opened my eyes and took one last breath before it happened.
I jumped up and turned towards the noise coming from the south behind me. I took stance and prepared to meet my captures once again. I knew they would catch up with me at some point, I was just hoping it would've been later than sooner.
"There she is!" I heard him call out, the ringleader, I believe his name was Jonathan, was wearing a dark purple cloak that shielded his eyes, those dark, crimson eyes. They were about 100 meters away and from what I could see, there were 7, including Jonathan. All wearing dark robes with the Banded Skull guild mark on the back. The Banded Skull was a dark guild, they specialized in kidnapping and rape jobs, they caught the children, and gave them to the sick bastards that payed for their capture. Apparently, I was in high  demand, and had a pretty high price over my head. I was one of the few lucky ones to escape, not many do. I felt awful leaving the others behind, but it was me or them, and being the selfish prude I am, I chose myself. But I will go back someday, and free them. I just had to secure my own safety first. And that meant fighting these guys off again, for the 3rd time today.
They were less then 50 meters now, and that's when the stress settled in. 'What if I can't fight these guys off again? Will they kill me? Or worse, bring me back?'. I couldn't let these thoughts get to me, I had to focus, I had to fight, fighting was all I knew.
They quickly surrounded me and hopped off of their large horses, none of them took off their hoods, except for Jonathan.
"Well well well, look who we've found, again." Jonathan sneered as he looked me up and down. His cold dead eyes staring. Jonathan wasn't a bad looking kid, only about a few years older than me, platinum blonde hair and seemingly smooth pale skin. A button nose and peach colored lips, quite the muscular stature for a 13 year old surprisingly. Compared to my skinny frame, he was huge.
"Yeah well, this will be the last time you'll find me Jonathan." I said emotionless, planning an escape route.
Then out of the corner of my eye I spot something moving in the snow covered bushes, "Planning an escape route are you? Well, we've got you surrounded, in case you haven't noticed.", Jonathan said taking a step forward, "You may have outran us the last two times, but I assure you, that will not happen again." Jonathan raised his arm, flipping his robe back to reveal a deep purple coat with gold buttons and chains, and dark violet trousers. "I honestly don't care about the money, I just want to see you die at my hand, slowly, very slowly. I want you to beg for mercy," he smirked, " I want you to fall to your master." Then I heard the shuffling in the bushes stop, and finally turned towards Jonathan with pitch black eyes.
"You. Wish." Before Jonathan could do anything, I raised my arm and sliced my wrist open with the blade in my hand, and watched as the blood dripped onto the soft snow below. I smirked at Jonathan's confusion, "Crimson angel blade!" A stream of crimson blood came out of my wrist and formed an enormous angelic blade above my head, I swung my arm and the blade had sliced 4 of the opposing guild members' horses in half. I smirked at their confused cries.
"What the fuck?! I'm out of here man, good luck with this shit master!" One of guild members yelled and ran off, the rest followed, except for Jonathan, who had dodged the attack.
"Well well well, turns out little Stephanie had a trick up her sleeve." He scowled, which turned into a menacing smile, "but you are not the only with tricks girl!" Before I could blink Jonathan quickly took out a magic pistol and fired. I moved quickly but not quickly enough, the bullet had hit me in my left shoulder, right next to my heart. My eyes widened and I fell to the ground. I curled up into a ball and winced as Jonathan laughed maniacally and walked towards me. I tried to focus on what he was doing, but my vision was getting blurry. I heard him kneel down next to me, and I felt the cold barrel of the gun against my temple. "Say goodbye princess." He placed his finger on the trigger and I grit my teeth and prepared myself for the impact.

                                           "BANG!"
