Hopes pov

flashback/dream

I was in hospital and sat next to a boy, for some reason I can't focus on his face. who is this boy ?

" ***** I made you a card for valentines day"  I said to the boy but what was his name ? why can't I hear what his name is ?

"thanks I got you something too" he said

"you did ?"

they boy places a bunny in my hand with something carved into it

"aww its a bunny its so cute"

"I'm glad you like it" he says with a chuckle

" I love it! thanks...Chase " I say 

straight away I wake up with sweat on the forehead, suddenly the boy from yesterday popped into my head.

"what why am I thinking about him ? oh its probably nothing" I think while getting out of bed and of course its time to go to school. I get ready and head to school.

as soon as I get to school I found my "friends" ok I admit it, they don't really treat me right and use me but they are the only people that talk to me.

"hey " I say politely

they turn and look at me and then go back to their convocation. To be honest I don't really know why I hang around them I would rather just be by my self but it would make me stand out more and I really don't like attention.

The day was pretty boring, it was the same as always. I sit in lessons with people occasionally throwing things at me, I guess It's because I am easy to pick on however I just ignore it. I wish I could just turn around and punch them right in the face but I would crap myself if I did. I don't have the best confidence and I never stand up or myself because I'm scared, just shows how much of a wimp I am. Hopefully one day that will change.

I walked out of the school gate to go home when Tia one of my "friends" walks up to me .

"I need you to do this homework for me " she shoves her homework at me

" I need it done by tomorrow afternoon"

" y-yes ok, no problem" I say, Fine I am scared of her and the others. If I don't do their homework for them they well get shitty and do something to me like have ago at me or smack me.

"good, if it's not done you know what will happen" she says coldly

I nod then she walks away. I sigh

"cow" I say quietly

"hey, Hope right ?" I hear a voice say

I turn around to see chase

"yeah, hey" I say with a smile

"you shouldn't let her treat you like that you know" he says, Oh he heard that

" I know" I say quietly while looking down

" so uh do you want to go and get ice cream, If your not busy" he randomly asks me

"erm sure" now I know you should never go somewhere with a Stranger but I felt like I have known him for years and also I had nothing to do anyway.

we went to the park just down the road from my school and we found an ice cream truck so we got our ice cream and sat down on a bench.

"so tell me about yourself" he says and licks his ice cream

"what would you like to know ?" I ask

"anything"

"ok,  I am 16 years old I love music and art, my favourite colour is blue, I love animals and my favourite animal is  a bunny "
