I'm Not Doing This Again..

(Luna's POV) 

Being held captive by your mother does seem strange to others...but this is somehow normal for me. 

I couldn't stop thinking about Steven. 

I remembered Steven giving me something, folded and wrinkled. When I sat down, the thing fell out of my dress pocket. I unfolded it and saw a photo of us and all the gems. 

"Oh, Steven...I miss you guys." I said, wiping away tears. 

Anger swept over me after I viewed our photo. I slammed my fist against the cell bars in frustration. 

"Sometimes, I wonder why I still call you 'Mom' to be honest. You've taken me as a prisoner, killed my father, and probably more things I don't know yet." I said, pacing around my cell. 

"Force of habit, darling." She chuckled. 

(BD's POV) 

Ugh, Luna's comments are keeping me off track. "We shall be heading back to Homeworld now, it's been a while since I've seen that beautiful place," I said, walking inside the ship. 

"R-Right away, my Diamond!" Centipeedle said, nervously. White, Blue, and Hope Diamond boarded their respective ships and headed towards our Homeworld Galaxy, leaving the Crystal Gems on Earth. "Centi! Send three hand ships to Earth to make sure those rogue gems'll stay on the planet they're still trying to protect." I commanded. "Right away, My Diamond," Centipeedle said. 

(Steven's POV) 

I started to get more worried once they left. "We have to get Luna back!" I yelled. Garnet moved her glasses and said "Steven, it's okay. Luna knows what to do. But, she'll need a little help." "Does that mean we-" "Yes. We'll have to go to Homeworld." "B-But Garnet, Rose said that after the war, we'll never be able to go home," Pearl explained. "Look up," Garnet commanded. We looked up and saw two hand ships that seemed to be guarding us. "Oh right! Don't we have that extra ship that we didn't explode?" Amethyst asked. "We'll use it to blend in with them," Garnet explained. "Okay. Let's do it." Pearl said, confidently. 

(Luna's POV)

"I'm just gonna sing to fill this quietness since it's driving me crazy," I explained. 

"Please don't." Black Diamond sighed. 

"Request denied, my Diamond," I said, sarcastically. 

This is gospel for the fallen ones, Locked away in permanent slumber, Assembling their philosophies, from pieces of broken memories. Oh, this is the beat of my heart, this is the beat of my heart. Oh, this is the beat of my heart, this is the beat of my heart. The gnashing teeth and criminal tongues conspire against the odds, but they haven't seen the best of us yet. If you love me let me go!  

"Don't you dare start with Panic! at the Disco." Black Diamond said. 

"How do you even know them?" I asked. 

"Seventeen years trapped inside you."

While she was talking, I was able to squeeze myself through the bars and out onto the main floor. I summoned my sword and walked towards her. "Hey, Black Diamond. I got a surprise for you." I said. 

"Will you stop singing?" She asked. 

"Nope. It's...THIS!" I yelled before stabbing her and poofing her gem. "Hmm. Who knew someone would go through all 3 levels of bubbling?" I asked to no one. "Ugh, I need to get out of here." I said, walking out of the room with Black Diamond.
