Superimpose:

1. Open one of the templates as the background. Then Crop your picture you want on your cover to be a little smaller then it is. (Hopefully makes sense) then go to transform and place half the person face on the ripped part of the cover and make the filter multiply. Then save. To make things easier just changed the background to the other template and save it. (That way you don't have to crop your cover again)

2. Next open your full size cover. Then one of your ripped pages. Go to mask and using the magic wand make sure the threshold is all the way down. Erase the black part of your cover.

3. When you go to merge your work click merge and drop shadow. Mess around with the settings till its to your liking click the check mark when finished. Repeat with other template. And save when finished.

Picsart:
1. Open your photo in Picsart crop your picture so it's smaller then then original (hope that makes sense) apply when finished. Then save.

2. Next open one of the templates and then go to add photo. Add your cropped image and then go to blend and place it on multiply. Save when finished. Repeat with other template. Now open your original cover and then open one of the templates. Click the eraser on the top of the screen and erase all the black.

3. Now click the paintbrush and turn the hardness down re apply some of the black so it looks like it's a shadow. Appt when finished repeat with other template.
