It was getting closer to thanksgiving and I just couldn't wait for Jackie to come home for the mini break from her school, she was coming two days earlier so we can spend time together before we have thanksgiving with my family, I was happy she was coming I was actually excited even though we video chat whenever she can and when I can, but throughout it all my mind kept going back to Star,

she telling about a party her parents are throwing, she invited me but I told her I'll let her know, because I need to spend time with Jackie and her parents as well, I haven't seen them since Jackie left a couple months ago "Marco, remember to get me at 9 pm no later then that, don't want creeps to be around"

I chuckled as I looked down at my phone seeing my girlfriends face "Yeah, I'm on my way..can't wait to see you in just a couple hours" she giggles and I see someone walk behind her "I know, hey I'll call when I land, you go take a nap or something..bye love you" she blew kisses at me

"Bye, have a safe flight and love you too" she hung up and I walked towards my parents house to get the car, yeah I'm saving up money to buy my own but it's better when my parents have two cars, they asked if I wanted it on my 18th birthday but I said no, but I still use it when I need it or I'm lazy to walk around

"Mom, Dad I'm home?!" I enter the empty house, I grew up in and see the decorations for the thanksgiving feast "In the kitchen!" As I made it into the kitchen I was smelled with the sweet smell of pumpkin pie and Mexican cookies my favorites, as o reached for a cookie my mom smacked my hand away

"Ay no touching the food, that's for in a couple days, is Jackie coming?" I nodded "Yep, tonight I might need the car to get her, is it okay?" She nods "Marco, just take it we bought well, your father bought me a car for my birthday, look" she took me into the garage where I see a new jeep Cherokee, it was silver and looked cool

"Wow, lucky you..where's dad?" "Went to buy the turkey, take the jeep compact, it was meant for you anyways and I'm not taking it back" I rolled my eyes "Okay, thanks mom I'll be back later so I can get the tree from the attic" she nodded "Yes, I would ask your father but the dust messes with him" I nodded

"Okay, bye mom see you later" as I drove to the airport that was literally two hours away I started thinking on how it's going to go down, everyone say hey and tell us what they are doing in life and blah, I'm not much of a Story type of guy but it's my family so it's going to happen, as I make it there 4 minutes before Jackie arrives I sit down near the carousel and waited for a response,

I looked down at my phone and saw my lock screen me and Jackie in our senior year of highschool and as I open my background is a collage of all of us, I smiled and then realized I never tool any pictures with Star, because we'll I never asked and it's rude to just take a picture of a person without letting them know,

I thought about it and my phone started ringing and it's Jackie 'Just landed, see you in a bit' "Okay, I'll be waiting" I bought roses for her she'll be happy when she'll see me after a couple minutes I saw the platinum blonde hair girl I love, she ran into my arms and kissed me hard which caused me to laugh a bit

"God I missed you! Aw is that for me, Marco you always treat me right" I handed her the roses and went to get her luggage "Missed you too, come here" I pulled her closer and she was giggling and blushing, it was great having here with me, it felt like she was staying forever but in reality she wasn't, if your wondering what college she attends? In New York, she likes it over there and it's pretty cool

"Oh babe, I know how much you loved wearing hoodies so I bought you one with New York on it, look" I looked and smiled "I like it, man Nico is going to go nuts when he sees his mommy" we laughed "Yeah, I miss my baby even though it had been 4 months, wow it feels like an eternity" I chuckled as we drove to my apartment, it was already midnight and I had to go to moms house for the tree

"Nico! Come here baby" Jackie fell onto the ground and her dog ran onto her barking and shaking with excitement, it was adorable "Hey, I'm gonna head to my parents, you can come or stay I just doing something quick" Jackie looked up and nods "Sure, I'll go I pretty much slept on the plane" I nodded and we took off, as we got there my mother hugged Jackie

"Jackie it's so nice to see you, how's school?" I left the girls and went towards the attack where I see my dad trying to go up but he was thinking about it "Dad, I'm going to do it, mom asked me already so don't worry about it" he nods and I climb up and find the old Christmas tree, as I bring it down along with the decorations for it, I wipe myself from the dust, as I went to look for Jackie I see Star sitting on the dining table with the others

"Star? It's late what are you doing here?" She giggled "I'm your parents neighbor, for a long time now?" I never knew she lived behind us? All these years and I never knew "Marco, she's so nice and pretty, at least I have her to keep you on track" Jackie joked and I sat down next to Jackie and put my arm around her "Yeah, she's pretty cool" I hope things turn out the way it should
