I looked down at my phone looking at the photo of Star I took, I almost told her how I feel but I can't, not just yet. I walked around my apartment and started taking Jackie's stuff out from the drawers, as I filled each box I looked at Nico who tilted his little head "Hey buddy, I guess we won't be hanging out anymore" he started to whine and climbed on my lap

"It's going to be okay..I hope" when I finished packing all of her things I checked the time and it was 6 as I quickly cleaned myself up and get movies ready, well Christmas movies that is, as the popcorn finished I heard Nico barking "Hold on a sec!" I quickly set the bowl down and made my way to the door when I opened there stood Star, her hair was curled and she was wearing a light pink dress with black flats and wore a black headband

"I hope I'm not late.." I blushed and shook my head but realized she couldn't see "No, not at all, I was just redecorating some stuff, come in" I stood aside and let her in as she walked she smelled like cherry blossoms "you look beautiful and smell good" I said trying to make small talk "Oh, thanks" as she walked towards the couch Nico rushed and was on her lap trying to lick her face she giggles and I start the movie "Guess Nico really did miss me" I sigh and I felt star's hand on my lap

"I feel like you need to say something off your chest" I nodded "Yeah, Star me and Jackie broke up yesterday" star moved her hand off me and held her face "Oh my goodness, I'm sorry are you okay?" The look of worry was on her face and I smirked "Yeah, I'm fine it's just we weren't connecting like before, and she said we drifted apart, which is somewhat true" her face was red and she moved her hands to her lap "It's not because of me right? If it was then I'm truly sorry"

I chuckled "It's not even your fault, you didn't kiss me or flirt with me in any way? I was faithful she..not so much" she sighs and puts her hand on my cheeks "I thought you guys were going to get married and have a family?" I shook my hand and grabbed her hands into mine "I don't want to be married, or have kids right now, we're young it's just her parents were pushing her into having babies for them, which I wasn't ready for"

star lowered her eyes and I held on her soft hands, I slowly brushed them against my cheek, she looked at me "What are you doing?" I smiled "Nothing, I could feel that you think it might be your fault but it's not, trust me" she sighs and moves her hand away "Marco, you know I can't see movies, what's really on your mind?"

I moved back a bit and looked at her, she looked so beautiful as the Christmas tree lights blinked on and off "I wanted to hang with you, I need a friend" I said softly "Okay, what do you wanna do? We can play games and dance around or act silly like we always do?" Star stood up and I did as well she pulled my hand and looked up at me "Put some music on"

I smirked and went to turn on the stereo system, as I turn I see Star swaying side to side looking amazing with every turn or twist "You don't own me~" I blushed I knew she liked this song because she'll act it out and I'll let her "Star.." I said she turns and ignores me and I sit on one of the boxes and watch her dance to the song, I just loved how free spirited she was, as the song was coming to the end she spins and trips and I grabbed her before she hurt herself

"You don't own me~" her cheeks were a tint of pink and I slowly picked her up, she held on my neck and looked straight not even looking up at me "You okay? You could've gotten hurt" I said run my hand down her back, she nods and moves my hands away from her "Star? Why are you pushing me away?" She shook her head "because, your just messing with me, this is just too good to be true, you getting touchy, acting friendlier and trying to kiss me!" I blushed, I wasn't really trying to kiss her

"I'm not messing with you, me and Jackie broke up, I'm single and I know you like me, I've heard you multiple times, I've even noticed the way you act when we're together? Star I would never mess with your feelings because I'm not that kind of person, I care an awful lot for you" I walked towards her and she looked like she was going to cry but she moved her head to her side so I wouldn't touch her face "How can I be sure your not with Jackie? You can be just saying that so you can me to kiss you and have mixed emotions and feelings"

I sigh and thought a way, as looked around I remembered the boxes "Me and Jackie are broken up, when she comes she moving out" star looked at me confused "What? She's moving out?" "Yes, touch behind you, theirs boxes filled with her stuff, we're done Star" she turns and places her hands on the box and she jumped a bit "So, I'm not dreaming this at all?" I came close where I looked down at her "Nope, it's real" she wipes her face and chuckles a bit

"I feel dumb" I shake my head "Your not, you just have things built inside you, I've had that happen before" star wrapped her arm around my waist and hugged me tight "I'm sorry" I held back "it's okay" as she let go I heard a weird sound from my closet "Did you hear that?" Star asked "Yeah, stay here" I walked towards my closet near the front door, as I opened a girl fell out of it

"Who the heck are you?!" I said and the git scrabbled onto her feet and smiled at me "Your more handsome in person" I gave her a strange look and Star groans "Destiny! What are you doing?" I looked at both girls and I was really confused "I needed to see the moment he asked you out, you were going to ask her out right?" I blushed and was speechless, I might've but it's too soon

"Destiny, your making him uncomfortable, I'm so sorry Marco that's my cousin destiny, she came last night when you dropped me off" destiny looked up at me with a huge smirk and poked my nose "So your the one that has the girlfriend, my cousin is beyond beautiful then any other girl, look at her she has long blonde hair, a nice figure and a good soul, she's the whole package" she said nudging me "Destiny! Stop it!" "I'm trying to help" "No your not! Your making it worse"

I backed up and watched them argue, I just want to know how in the world she got in my closet? "I hate to break this awkward moment but how in the world did you enter my house?" Destiny giggles "Well when you were staring at Star walking in I took my chance and slipped right in and quickly entered the closet, say Marco you like my cousin right? Like more then a friend?" Star smacked her arm "ouch, what was that for?" She glared at her

"I'm not really comfortable talking about this in front of you, no offense" star looked angry at her cousin but sigh "Marco, I'm gonna take off off okay, I'm sorry about her" star came towards me and hugged me and left "Bye Marco, nice meeting you" I waved awkwardly at her and locked my door, I quickly checked my rooms for anymore surprises but it was clear "That was weird"

Star Pov
I was so mad at destiny, she made him feel uncomfortable and awkward now he's going to think I'm weird or desperate for him, god! "Star your really quiet, is it because of me?" I stopped in my tracks "Destiny, I'm really upset with you, I told you back at the house don't follow me or do something that could ruin something? There you are in his supply closet spying on us to see if we did anything, he only invited me to hang out because he broke up with his girlfriend!" I was breathing pretty fast and my head started to hurt a bit "Star? Are you okay? Your kinda moving funny" I blinked a couple times and I was gone..
