I don't care if this is an illusion. My fingers move around on my phone screen.
(Y/C/N): Hey! I love your videos so much! Of course I'll collab with you! Your channel is what inspired me in the first place! I would be honored to work with you!
A failed attempt at trying to be subtle. Not to mention, this was sent about 30 seconds after the message was sent. How desperate. I feel kind of awkward about my reaction. My brain is yelling at itself right now. Why didn't I wait until I calmed down? My anxiety kicks in and I feel the walls closing in on me. I hear a noise and look at my phone.
RobertIDK: Great! It's amazing that I was able to inspire someone! So when are you available? I'm sorry if this is a bad time!
Why is he apologizing? The RobertIDK sending an apology to ME?! Him sending me anything is a miracle. But he did nothing wrong.
(Y/C/N): It's never a bad time! So where are we gonna meet up?
RobertIDK: Wait, (Y/N) don't you live in LA? I figured we'd just film parts and send them to each other haha. :)
This is the moment where my entire face turned a pale sickly color. I'm such an idiot. How could I think we were gonna meet up?
(Y/C/N): Haha! Sorry, I forgot we were so far away! Ok well whenever is good with me! Whatever works for you!
RobertIDK: Ok! You don't have to apologize! I'm just happy you said yes. How about this Friday we do a skype chat and talk it over?
(Y/C/N): Of course! Talk to you then. Bye!
RobertIDK: Goodbye (N/N)!
He used my nickname. Could this day possibly get any better?
Robert's P.O.V.
(Y/N) actually responded immediately! She told me I inspired her to get a YouTube channel in the first place! We are planning to skype chat in two days to plan the collab. I feel like she seemed a bit nervous.
At the end of the conversation, I used her nickname. I hope she isn't angry about it. I just feel like it was necessary! Two days is too long a wait.
Sorry if this chapter seems a bit all over the place. I wasn't sure how I wanted to represent messaging. But I tried my hardest! Here's what I came up with!
