Back in NYC

(Maya's POV)
It was a really long drive from Florida to New York by it was fun because I had Lucas by my side. He drove because I'm not the best driver but I drove for an hour or 2.
L- so hows it being back in New York
M- weird but it still feels like home
L- I know u miss it here
M- I do a little bit I grew up here so it's reasonable
L- Maya don't worry I miss it too
M- my mum and dad are here
L- Riley's here
M - I don't even know if she still likes me after I left and never spoke to her again
L- I'm sure she does you were Riley and maya the inseparable
M- yeah we were
L- and she did invite you to her engagement party
M- yeah but it could have just been a we use to be friends how about I just invite you kinda invitation. Anyway enough about me, are you nervous to see Shawn again
L- nothing I can't handle
M- good just mention football or something and you'll become best friends

Once we arrived I sat and stared into Lucas's eyes
M- I love u
Then we kissed
L- what was that for
M- being there for me
L- well I love u too

As We walk in Lucas clenches my hand
M- hi mum
K- Maya, Lucas I missed you both
M- we missed you too mum
K- so hows life
L- great
K- aw good well come in and make yourself at home
M- I missed you mum
K- I missed you too honey
M- its been way too long and where's Shawn
K- shawns out right now but he will be back in a bit
M- ok
K- Maya are u going to visit Riley before tomorrow night
M- maybe Lucas is going to visit farkle tonight and I might go visit Riley then
K- well she has something exciting to tell u guys
M- I though the engagement was the most exciting
K- no something else
M- seriously
K- yep. Well u guys better go unpack and I'll make some food
M-yeah
Me and Lucas go to my old room
L- wow this is a throwback
M- yep
L- remember that day in the summer when Riley was on holiday and it was just u and me
M- maybe
L- the movie evening. When we talked and just had fun
M- oh yeah that was a nice night
L- that was the first night I ever had feeling for u
M- oh huckleberry berry that's sweet. I love you
Then i kissed Lucas and we just looked into each other's eyes and hugged. That night we watched a movie called the long ride. Lucas brought it over and I just let him watch it because I had never seen it
M- I like that memory
L- yeah. That summer was good
M-but it ended when u needed to go to Florida for college
L- well we have had many movie days since
M- true but none have been as magical as the first
K- foods ready
M- down in a minute

Once we got dinner Shawn arrived home
M-Shawn
S- maya
M- how are u
S- good what about u
M- I'm fine
L- hi sir
S- Lucas good to see you
L- same sir
S- so hows life been
L- good, I just got a big pay rise and maya might be getting entered into a big art show
K- wow maya that's amazing why didn't you say anything
M- I don't know, anyway Shawn have u heard from the Matthews today
S-yes their having a family game night tonight why
M- I was gonna see Riley tonight
S- well u can come with me tonight
M- yes please and can Lucas come
S - sure

Shawn then got some food and we left for Cory and Matthews apartment.
