Chapter Eleven

Mike's POV

"Truth or Dare, Dustin?" I ask, turning towards him.
He hesitates for a moment, before picking truth.
"Who is your crush?" I ask him mischievously.
He glances around shyly.
I look around too, and see El looking confused.
Seeing me look at her she asks me, "Mike, what's a crush?"
"A crush is...someone you like."
"Like? What kind of like?" She asks
"Not as a friend." I say. "Its liking someone in the way I like you."
"And the way I like you?"
At that statement I start blushing.
With a giggle I say, "Yes El, like that."
She looks satisfied with that.

Turning back to Dustin, I look at him expectantly.
"Well." He says shyly. "I really like this girl named Olivia. She's gorgeous."
"That's cute man." Lucas tells him.
He replies with, "Thank you.", and a slight laugh.
He turns to me now. "Truth or Dare, Mike?"
Already knowing my choice, I pick Dare. I always do.
Dustin grins evilly at me. "I dare you" he starts slowly, "to kiss El for two minutes."
Turning bright red, I turn to El. Placing my mouth on hers, I complete the dare.
In all honesty, it's over too fast.
Its my turn to ask someone now.
Turning to Will I ask him, "Truth or Dare, Willy Wonka?" We all laugh at that nickname.
"Truth." Is his reply.
Yes I think to myself. I had a question that I'd been wanting to ask.
"Will, is it true that you like El?"
I regret the question as soon as it comes out, upon seeing Wills face.

Will's POV
"Will, is it true you like El?"
My blood freezes in my veins when Mike asks that.
I decide to be mostly honest.
"Yes, it's true I like her a little bit. I swear it's only a tiny bit though."
That part isn't true. I'm head over heels for her.
Mike seems to buy it though. Thank goodness

Mike's POV

We had played truth or dare for a while longer, before deciding to go for a bike ride.
We're currently biking down Elm and Cherry.
Then, all the blood in my body freezes, and my heart stops.
Feeling El tighten her grip on me and cower, I know I'm not imagining it.

Parked right in front of us, is the man we've been afraid of for weeks. The man who tortured, and pushed El beyond her limits.
I come to a stop on my bike, and the others follow suit.
Its El's Papa.
