As soon as he closed his eyes that night, he could see her. Standing on top of a dragon, its lifeless body smashed into the ground. As he looked closer he could see it was his dragon. Toothless. He looked at the woman who did this.

Never had he seen such empty eyes. They were cold, lifeless. As if he was staring at a corpse. Suddenly he couldn't move. His legs, they seemed to be frozen. She stepped off of the dragon and came towards him a small blade in hands. Her voice as cold as her eyes, but her voice held one emotion locked inside. Hate. He tried clawing at the ground trying to get away

"My bird. My pretty bird. Have you lost your wings?" He tried to stand. He tried to scream. Nothing happened. He had no choice but to watch as she came towards him like he was her prey.  "Pretty bird. Pretty bird." She kept musing. Her lips spread into a wicked smile.

The last thing he saw was her dead eyes up close right before she struck.

"Ahhhhhh!" He screamed sitting up wide awake. Breathing heavily he hid his face in his hands. Toothless perked his sleepy head up. Tightly, he wrapped his arms around his giant head. "you're ok, you're ok. It was just a dream. It was just a dream." He shook his head and laid back down feeling uneasy. "It was just a dream. It was just a dream."
