Chloe's POV
"Or maybe he'll end you"
I barely remember what happened next
It all went down so fast
Ryan gave me a signal and I ducked away
You see maybe this would all make a little more sense if I went back to when I gave him that hug
There was a reason it was awkward
It wasn't just a hug I gave him
I knew I wouldn't get away with it, he was watching me to closely
Ryan however had a much better chance
So you see I slipped him my gun
Back to where we were and as I ducked Ryan fired three times upon the thing that was trying to take me
He hit him both times
It changed back into its true form as he started bleeding out
The alien fell to the floor dead
But I looked at him and saw he had only taken two shots
I heard three
Ryan wouldn't miss.....
I turned round to him hurriedly
He had his hand just below his shoulder and a pained look upon his face
"RY!" I screamed and ran to him
"It's okay, it was a through and through, I just need to be patched up
"You scared me!" I yelled
"Chloe go get the med kit from the truck" he told me and I did so
I brought it back to him
Okay so I'm gonna tell you what to do and you're and you're gonna do it okay?
I nodded and so he began explaining everything to me, I patched him up as best I could and then helped him put his arm in a sling to support the wound
"Is that it? Is it over?" I ask him once we're done
"I think so baby" he smiles and I do too as I let out a sigh of relief
We get up from the floor where we'd sat while I patched him up and he put his good arm around me as I snuggled into him
"Finally we can just have this baby piece?" I asked
"I think so honey" he told me
Then suddenly there was a huge gust of wind that just kept on coming at us
We looked up and we saw it
The ship was attempting to move away, the others were leaving
At least they were trying to
But they weren't succeeding
Then it happened
A huge explosion, they had destroyed themselves, I'm not sure if it was an accident or on purpose or what and obviously we will never know but what I did know was it was over
Our fight was done
We were safe
My baby was safe
The war was over
