Chloe's POV
It was three weeks later when we heard something on the radio, it had become the only form of communication to us so called rebels
It was happening, people were rising up against them, they were fighting back
But people were scared
Scared of everything
Scared of each other
People were busy shooting first and asking questions later
It was insane
Now I was 3 months pregnant and showing, not much but enough
I was just trying to get some rest when I heard it, the people on the radio, talking about plans to end them
They were talking about how they were dying, we'd just have to wait them out, but that wasn't enough
"Ry" I called out to him from our bedroom, we had gone out to my grandparents old cabin the woods
"Yeah baby? He asked as he wandered in
"Listen" I told him
He sat down beside me and listened to them talk
We heard them say that if we could kill the leaders they would lose the bonds that were holding them together
If we destroy the leaders we destroy them? The mere suggestion seemed impossible, it couldn't be that simple could it?
"Chlo, this is it, this is our chance, we won't have to hide anymore" he told me excitedly
"It's too simple" I whispered
"What?" He asked confused
"Ryan think, how could it be that simple?" I explained
"Sweetheart, it's worth a try" he told me
It turned out this had been being planned for weeks but we were on the wrong channel of sorts, I must've knocked it and it picked up the right signal, little did we know that at the time, that among other things
"Ry, the baby's hungry, meaning I'm hungry" I told him in a slightly grouchy voice
"Okay sweetheart, I'm gonna have to go into the town, we haven't got anything to eat" he told me and that was were it all went wrong
"Wait you're leaving me?!" I was not impressed by that suggestion
"You can always come with me" he suggested
"Fine" I agreed, but we shouldn't have ever left
