Alex's POV
"Alright, the good news is you can finally stop doing your schoolwork in a hospital bed, we're going home!" Laurens exclaims.
"Oh my god are you serious! Laurens baby we can finally have a life again I'm so excited oh my g-"
"The bad news you're gonna be doing work from your bed."
"What..?"
"You're bedridden for another two weeks, Alex."
"I..."
I feel like my world is crashing around me. Another two weeks?
"Alex, baby are you-"
"No."
Laurens scoots next to me and hugs me as I silently cry.
"I'm sorry baby......"
"No- it's just...I ruined everything. I made you all drive across the country because I fucked up. I'm....I'm sorry-" I choke back a sob, and Laurens wipes my tears.
"No, Alex....It's okay. You didn't fuck up....we came here because we care about you!"
Suddenly the sisters walk in.
"We heard everything." Eliza looks up with sad eyes.
"Alex, you didn't fuck up. We all love you!"
"Oh, Alex." Peggy runs up and hugs me. "Don't think so badly about yourself."
"We're all gonna go home and live life and be happy and take care of each other. I promise."
