The year 1796 was a very interesting period in time. Australia had only recently been discovered, and the British were dispatching many ships loaded with both supplies and people to help make their new colony thrive.
In the January of 1796, five British ships were coming close to the end of their voyage from Portsmouth, UK to Australia. However, their luck ran out with the sudden and rare arrival of a pirate ship, initiating a battle that left many dead and the survivors shipwrecked on an unknown island.
The following chapters are documentation of the horrific events that took place among the survivors during the course of the year 1796.
