Chapter 7: Doggy Thingy

Charles' POV

Shit. I can't believe this. Kung hindi lang to para kay Shane...

"Ano Charles? You give up na?" Said Evil Zee. She's really look like evil. She's seating near the rock with her smoky eye makeup and maroon dress.

"Do we really have to do this? You see, I just want you to be friends with and sorry again for what I've acted before. And do I really have to dress like a stupid dog in costume?! Were not going in a halloween party right?"

"Nope. Were going on the mall." She said while fanning herself. I can't believe this!

Yes, you've heard it right or rather read. In order that Zee would forgive me, i'll be her slave for a day. And she told me to dress like a dog. Not just a dog mascot. Im wearing a black tights and a black sleeveless tee baring my biceps, a black choker with a dog tag as a pendant. And a headband like a dog ears that covered my chocolate colored curly hair. Well, so gay. But still..

Anong nangyayari sakin? I just wished that my friends won't see me in the mall.

I heared some murmurs about me inside the mall. Damn it Zee!

"Zee matagal pa ba?" Naiirita kong tanong.

"Wait doggy. The dresses here are so beautiful. Wait. Asan na ba si Shane? Kanina pa tayo dito sa botique niya eh."

"Did Shane really need to see me with a costume like this?" Really huh?

"Yeah. She needs to see your good looks, bad looks. Or ano pang looks yan."

"What if I won't?"

"Simple. I will tell her that you didn't treat me right before." Ayan nanaman siya sa pagbablackmail sakin.

"Aishh.. oo na.. pero pagkatapos nito bati na tayo ha? At friend nadin tayo?" I said patiently.

Zee's POV

Nandito ako ngayon sa bahay ko. It's thursday. Nakakainip dito. Ang boring.

Are you asking what happened nung pumunta kami sa botique ni Shane? Here. Let me show ya.

Medyo naiinip na ako sa kakahintay kay Shane but I still waited. Haha. I just want to show her the doggy face of Charles. Fun right? Haha

"Yah! Where have you been?!" Kunot noo kong tanong sa kanya.

"Whoa. Chill Zee. Where just waiting for 20 minutes."sagot ni Doggy.

"Exactly. 20 minutes has wasted." I answered with a quiet lout voice.

"Sorry cous. Wait. Charles? Is that you?" Good job Shane. You've notice him. Ahaha

"Aaahhh.. oo Shane. It's me." Nag aalangang sagot ni Doggy.

"Why are you in a suit like that?" Medyo inis na tanong ni Shane.

"I told him." Simpleng sagot ko.

"Why?" She ask with a big curiosity in her face.

"Because you once told me you like guys who are doing everything just to make you laugh or happy. And you wished that someone will surprise you with a dog costume. And besides. We both know that you like dogs." Trying hard kong sagot sa kanya. Nag effort kaya akong mag waste ng laway para lang magpalusot.

"Ahh.. you're so sweet Charles." She smiled sweetly to Doggy and Doggy smiled so sweet at her too.

"Ew. That sucks guise." Nandidiri kong sabi sa kanilang dalawa. Nakakadiri naman talaga eh.

"You're so bitter Zee." Natatawang sagot sakin ni Shane.

"Btw. Cous. I need to go. I have something to manage pa. Sige cous. Bye.!"

Nagwave ako sa kanila at umuwi na.

*knock knock knock*

"Come in" because I know that Josh is going to enter my room anytime. After I got in, I made a trap.

Simple trap. A simple trap that can made him decide not to enter my room again.

He opened the door and the dominos started to move and the bell rang then a big beach ball fall down to a small pan that is full of black paint and... shoot! Haha. It's exact to his face. Haha.

"What the hell Zee!?" Galit na galit siyang nagsalita. Haha.. you deserve that Josh.

"That is what a shitty bastard deserves." I answered with the insulting voice.

"You're really a Badgirl!" Oh. Pitty Josh. Always act as a delinquent.

"Of course that's why I'm beautiful. *evil smile*" he's so funny.

Nandito ako ngayon sa school garden tumambay. Since hindi naman mainit.

"Hey Zak. Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Si Aled pala.

"Don't state the obvious. Stupid." Umupo siya sa tabi ko. Actually nakahiga ako sa school garden inuunan ang bag ko. Nakakarelax kasi ako sa pwestong ganto.

"You know Zak. You're reminding me of someone"

"I'm not asking." Pagtataray ko sa kanya.

Minsan talaga nakukulitan ako sa lalaking to eh. He's always telling a story. Like I hella care.

"That happened when I was 9 years old." Panimula niya. Paki ko ba?

"She's beautiful. But she's weak. She's always being bullied. Everybody's calling her stupid but she's not fighting. So I decided to help her. Then we've became bestfriends. I'm always protecting her against bullies. I teach her how to be strong. That's when I was in U.S. but we migrate here." Napaisip ako sa sinabi niya. Di kaya? "I like her. But..---"

"Aled! Kanina ka pa hinahanap ni coach!" Panira naman tong si Nazakiel eh!

"Oh Zee! Haha.. hi there Amazon!" Pang aasar niya.

Tumayo ako at sinikmuraan ang gago.

"Next time you'll call me amazon make sure that I can't hit you." I leave them blankly.

"AARRRGGHHH!! I CAN'T SLEEP!!!!!!" Iniisip ko padin kung siya nga yun. Yung batang naging bestfriend ko dati.

"Zee? Anak? Is there a problem dear?" Hala. Naistorbo ko ata si mommy. Wait? Pano niya ko narinig? Eh may isang kwarto na gap yung room namin eh.

"Nothing mom. Something's just bothering me." Palusot pa Zee...

"Oh. Sige. I'll sleep na anak ha. Just call me if there's any problem. And btw. Nakabalik na ng states si Josh. Magmomodel daw."

"Okay mom." Wala naman akong paki kay Josh eh. Naghohome study siya. Kaya nakakapagmodeling siya.

What's in my mind now is that guy. Maaaring si Aled nga ang batang yun. Pero. Why is he so kind now? Arrrgghh.. so complicated.
