"Fine! He has the looks!" I say exhasperated.

At the statement, mom smiled and giggled. "He has the looks? You should be friends with him."

Dad shook his head. "Don't befriend him. He may be dangerous." he told me.

Mom rolled her eyes. "Shut up Damon. You're overprotective." then she told me. "Befriend him."

I shook my head. "He's too quiet for my taste."

She frowned. "Ehh? Then befriend someone noisy. No wait, befriend him so he'll be noisy."

Befriend someone noisy?

As if! I'd never befriend Mia. She makes my ears bleed with her loud voice.

Tonight, I was busy preparing what I will teach to Mr. Anderson.

I started from Math. I checked the topics in my notebook.

Then I proceeded to Science. I printed an exercise from the internet.

Next is History and Filipino which are difficult subjects, so I reread our lesson in order to know how I'll explain it to him.

I hope he'll understand whatever I teach and I'm wishing that he's not arrogant and cocky.

I listed all the topics and prepared some excercises for him to answer. I also took some math problems in the book.

I also made a script for our groupwork in History, then went to bed.

It was a new day. It went on quickly until it was dismissal time.

I took a deep breath. Today is the first time I'll tutor Mr. Anderson

I rubbed my head and proceeded to my locker to get the neccessary things, then I walked to the library. I reached my destination and saw Mr. Anderson standing near the door.

I plastered my signature fake smile and walk to him.

"Good morning, Mr. Anderson." I greeted.

He gave me a nod and we went to the nearest table.

We settled there and put out our things.

"I hope your bringing a pen. You'll need it." I said and started teaching him.

I discussed the first subject which is Filipino. I let him read the piece Florante at Laura by Francisco Balagtas, a Filipino writer. Only the first chapter. Then, I explained it to him by stanza. I also told him to take down notes. It will benefit him especially in the Quarterly Exams.

After thirty minutes of discussing, I asked him to translate the words I'll say, in English.

"Okay, what does sansinukuban mean?" I asked.

"Uhhh... whole world?" he answered unsurely.

Whole world is correct, so I grinned and gave him a thumbs up. I fixed my glasses and proceeded to the next question.

And the next.

And the next.

Until he answered all. I'd admit. For a new student, he's smart. He's able to answer my questions correctly. It's a good thing though, I wouldn't have a hard time teaching him the things he needed to learn

Then we proceeded to the next subject which is Science. I let him read the first chapter of our lesson, and discussed it to him. I was about to give him the exercise, when someone tapped my shoulder.

I turned around and saw a mid-twenties redhead, which is the librarian. "It's already late, You should go home now." she said then went to her desk.

Mr. Anderson and I packed our things. I gave him the exercise sheet and told him to answer it at home.

He went out first and left me without saying a word

Not even a thank you? How ungrateful.

He's really a snob.

I removed my smile, since nobody's around and went home.

I ate dinner with my parents. did my homework and went to sleep.

What an exhausting day.
