But, yeah, I was more into Leif Erikkson Day... In my defense, I've been celebrating your birthday for nearly seven years now! I deserve a break, don't I?

*groans* Ugh, John! Why must you do this to me? You're so immature.

Anyway, readers, I'm here to announce this brand new writing competition that Miss Macca is holding! This one is a little bit special as it involves something you guys know and love -

Thank you, Miss. This new writing contest is based off of our very own Beatles REACT! Miss Macca is going to challenge you - the readers - to create a separate little book containing a one-shot written like a chapter of Beatles REACT.

It can be a reaction to anything you want, and it doesn't just have to be The Beatles. You can include any band, celebrities, characters, YouTubers, anyone you want! Just as long as it's set up like a chapter of Beatles REACT.

What if they don't want to write it, Johnny?

Then they're lazy a**holes.

Oh, right! You don't have to write it up like a proper chapter. If you're a more artistic type of person, you can draw your entry like a comic strip! That would be pretty damn impressive, if I'm completely honest.

That's right, guys. New contest, new format, new ideas!

Here are the rules and conditions:

1) Make sure your own take on Beatles REACT is a separate book, not just a chapter in a huge book of ramblings or anything.

2) You can title your book anything you like; it's doesn't just have to be "------ REACT".

3) Nothing too explicit or inappropriate, please. :)

4) You can write the reactions as a chapter, draw it like a comic strip, do a YouTube video - anything goes!

5) Tag your story with #MMSOctober to make your entry easy to find (or tag my username within the text - either works).

6) Have fun! :D
