2. I Hate This Game

Start from the beginning

William is clearly scared of his outcome happening twice in a row. He survived with the grace of a god. Swift was so impressed that he gave him months out of jail to see his daughter until he has to play again.

He drops his whole tattooed arm in the updated bucket and grasp the cube inside of his palm and waits on Cleo to pick up his. The irony is that Cleo clearly looks like a younger version of William. Same head and body shape. They would have the same haircut if William didn't cut his hair low. Cleo reaches inside and the game begins. William and Cleo opens their hands. They look at the outcome and embrace each other in a warm hug. The connection between them is so strong even though they've only known each other for a couple of minutes. Cleo makes his way into the blue seat next to Jillian.

Swift Prober's hologram appears in the middle of the room. Same look as if this tape is pre taped.

"Hello final fourteen. This is almost the ending of the first round. Everyone that is not sitting in the hot seats will vote out the person you think is less deserving. The magic number to stay is seven. The person with the most votes will be eliminated until there is one person left. If you want Cleo out the game, press the blue button. If you want Jillian out, press the red button on the screen on your podium. You may now vote."

"I'm going to be upfront. I'm voting out Cleo. Jillian can help me in this game." Winter coldly says to Cleo and presses the blue button.

"No. I have to stay alive. Jillian is old as dirt. The girls are clearly together. I need the boys to stay together. I would never vote any of the guys out." Cleo argues.

Nathan, Xavier, and Roy all votes. Eight votes left.

Jillian flips her head to Cleo. Face fully red.

"Firstly I'm not old. I'm thirty-two years old. You aren't that far. Since there somehow is a girls alliance, I will work with you. One of us will win if I'm here. We just need one guy to work with us. That's seven votes for that person to stay."

"Sorry Jillian. I'm keeping Cleo in the game. He's a little version of me. Good luck to you though." William says bluntly as he votes. Seven votes left.

Andie and Elisa stands together. "Get thrift shop boy out. Look at the first winner. Us girls need to stick together so we can be like that final two. This is the only way to get out. You have to play the game."

"I agree one hundred percent." Elisabeth adds as they both vote.

Hazel, Pharaoh, Jenna, Joshua, and Tabitha are the people left who have to vote.

"I'm with the boys then. The girls don't care about our game. They want us out and Joshua you need to vote Jillian out." Pharaoh votes on his screen. Joshua nods his head and presses a button on his screen.

Three votes and all three are girls. The vote can still go either way.

Tabitha is on Jenna's screen with her guiding her to where her vote should lie quietly. Holding her tiny hands as she presses her screen. Tabitha now walks to her screen to press the exact button.

One vote left and it's all up to Hazel.

"Hazel. Come with the boys we all have your back. All of the girls can't all win. They will go against each other and you will be the number seven of the alliance. Work with us then you will have the boys on your side and the girls won't vote you out next to a boy. It's a win win." Nathan says.

"No. I would vote you out if you vote out Jillian. You would be a part of the boys." Winter says.

"They don't have your back. If you work with the boys then it would be an eight versus five battle and you would be in the majority." Nathan says next to her.

"Nathan and I have your back for sure. None of the girls have said that. They want you to be a vote and not an ally." Roy adds.

"I know what to do for my game. Stop bugging me about it." Hazel says then votes privately.

The wall behind the two chairs with Cleo and Jillian changes from the first winner to the numbers 7-5 in digital clock format.

Everyone stares at the vote and stares at Jillian and Cleo scared bodies in the seat.

"I hate this game." Jillian says.

"Me too." Mostly everyone else says synchronized.

Jillian's wristband blinks blue as her body tenses up with her limps going straight from her body. The wrist with her wristband starts protruding black veins. The blackness follows her veins from her wrist towards her neck and face. Her body seems to be zombifying looking at the back of her head. Tiny muscle grunts exit her body until her body stops functioning. Dropped down into her chair. Finished.

"This can not be real. This is just a big joke on me right?" Elisabeth cries silently.

"It's real sadly, but we have to make it through this. " William coddles her.

The diabolical laugh of Swift fills the room through the speakers.

"Only the strongest can win. You have to make it through if you want to win."
