The First Date (Side Story)

I run in and turn left and right in the maze of mirrors. "Jaeyoon?" I hear Baekhyun yell.

I try to stifle my laugh, hearing his incoherent footsteps. 

"J-Jaeyoon?" I hear him whimper. My eyes widen. Was he scared?

Suddenly I feel someone backhug me. We both fall to the ground as I felt hands start to tickle me. "Aha! You thought I was lost? Look who's in trouble now!"

"S-Stop p-please B-Baekhyun it t-tickles!" I laugh between my words, not sure if he could understand a would I just said. 

"Not until you say that I look really handsome today."

An idea burst into mind. "A-Arasseo! I'll say it!"

"Okay!" Baekhyun said as he stops tickling me and pins me down to make sure I don't make it run for it. Honestly, I wouldn't even know how to make it run for it. I'd probably just break all the mirrors from running into them thinking it's a pathway.

"You look really handsome today, oppa." I emphasize. His eyes widen. I feel his grip loosen, a lot. I then get up before leaving, making sure that I don't run into a mirror.

"Y-Yah. I didn't tell you to call me that." Baekhyun stutters. I shake my head and giggle. 

"Whatever oppa. You know you like it."

I didn't hear him answer me. I smirk at my victory.

We walk around the Carnival, talking about life, anything just to know and get more information about each other. 

I really felt bad for him when I found out some popular and obssessed girls ruined his brother's wedding. 

"That's really... I'm sorry Baekhyun. I-I probably just ruined this date." I apologize. He smiles at me and shakes his head.

"It's really alright... Some people just don't know their limits and boundaries. Very sad and ridiculous." I nod in agreement. 

"Oh! The fireworks will be starting soon! Would you like to go on the Ferris Wheel?" I ask looking at his porcelain face.

Baekhyun shakes his head before grinning at me. "Waeyo?" I ask.

"Let's just say, I saw a couple that will probably be at the top." I laugh before I nod in understanding.

Baekhyun then grabbed my hand and led me towards a bench it was on the front of the Carnival, where the Fireworks would be performing. 

I take this as a time to thank him. I turn to him and say, "Gomawo Baekhyun. T-This is actually my real first date... And so far, it's the best one I've ever had."

He takes my hand and intertwines our fingers.

DUGEUN DUGEUN DUGEUN.

My heart was beating uncontrollably fast. My mind was racing into millions of scenarios of what could happen. 

I then see him leaning in, closing his eyes as he comes closer. I close my eyes too, nerves everywhere. 

Suddenly I hear the screech of released fireworks. We instantly pull away and blush hard. I hope that he can''t see my blush from all the colors projecting on my face. 

"I really hope we can go out again." 

"Of course oppa. Whenever you want."
